Then it was time to start switching light bulbs on the Land Cruiser (2003 Land Cruiser 120 D4D GX) project.
I need to instal new Fog light in the front.
It's no big job. And although I have never tried it before, and lacked instructions!
This is a very simple job, which most people should have no trouble doing themselves!
But then Toyota has always had a starting point, that it should be designed so that you can actually work on the cars when necessary!
And the Land Cruiser / PRADO, is meant to be used harshly. Then it is extra important to be able to fix tin in the easiest possible way!

Da var det på tide å instalere nytt tåkelys på min 2006 Land Cruiser 120.
Det manglet tåkelys på høyre side foran. Det ser ut til å ha vært en skade, der lykta skulle vært!
Det er ingen stor jobb. Og selv om jeg aldrig har prøvd det før, og manglet instruksjoner! Ja det var veldig likt å gjøre det på min Camry!
Dette er en meget enkel jobb, som de alle fleste ikke bør ha noe problemer med å gjøre selv!
Men så har Toyota altid hatt et utgangspunkt, at det skal designes slik at man faktisk skal kunne jobbe på bilene når det blir nødvendig!
Og Land Cruiser / PRADO, er ment for å brukes tøft. Da er det ekstra viktig å kunne fikse tin enklest mulig!

But I see it being sold similarly on ebay, aliexpress +++
Sees it sold in Chrome and in a black version.

Hello.
Since my bumper has an injury to the fog light, it was probably more than a normal slack. I solved it with hot glue gun. Then I can get it of again, if necessary.
I'm thinking about switching to a powerful bumper with a winch setup. Then everything must be rebuilt.

@@omarkash4099 I'm not sure which one of the cars I'm going to build for the tour car. I have several LC120 + a 60 series + a P38 Rang Rover + a Suburban. I also have a 3 ton winch lying around. Just need to get sold off some other cars, and get started on a larger garage. Expect that when I first start rebuilding a car, it will take time in the garage ... Then I need more space.
@@bildillamagasin I'm also looking for some space to set up a small workshop, hopefully it works out and all the best on your side as well
@@omarkash4099 Winter is fast approaching, so you can do much less. I do not know where you are, but here in Norway, winters are not the time to do so much outside. Then the choice is to rent a large garage, or start building one at home. I have rented before, but when it is a short drive to the garage, it is an obstacle as well.
Hope you get started with construction soon too!

Thank you very much. It's good that these simple videos come in handy. Find a lot similar on UA-cam myself, so I choose to make such videos when I do work on my own cars as well.

I found new fog lights on both aliexpress and ebay. The prices varied a lot, but you can find the cheap ones!

I checked where I ordered. See it was on Aliexpress. I paid less than 40 euros, for both fog lights with shipping.
I see no difference in the light from the originals. A small design difference in the glass, but very little.
