The "Ugly" Sketchbook Supplies

This is a video showing all of my favorite supplies that you have seen me use in my "ugly" sketchbook series. If you haven't seen it you can check it out on my Instagram (tawniejeannestudios). I'd love to see you over there! These materials are also just my favorite for sketching and art in general and are a great place if you're wondering what to buy to get started. I'm not saying to buy all of this- only what speaks to you and looks like fun to try.
Most of these materials can be found in my Amazon Storefront- link on my homepage :) Some I purchased at my local art store or Michael's.
Materials in order of appearance:
Strathmore 5x7" ready cut watercolor paper, Canson 9x12" watercolor paper, Stonehenge 8x10" black watercolor paper, Strathmore 9x12" tracing paper, Micron pens assorted sizes, Pentel mechanical pencil 0.9mm, Tombow mono zero eraser pen, General's factis artist gum eraser, General's compressed charcoal, "smudgie" blending stump, General's charcoal pencils, Oilsticks, Scotch delicate surface tape, Proartist pro tape 1/2 & 1/4", Sennelier 12 into colors oil pastel set, Sennelier Plein Air 30 soft pastel set, Artist's Loft 24 pack soft pastel, Prismacolor colored pencil 24 pack, Prismacolor colorless blender, Grumbacher Misket liquid frisket, Gum/residue eraser, Old toothbrush/paint brush, straight edge/ stencils, Art + Soul 18 color jelly gouache set, Winsor and Newton travel watercolor set, Artist's Loft plastic paint palette, assorted tubes of watercolor paints - reccomended brands: Daniel Smith, M. Graham, Winsor and Newton., Posca paint pens various colors and sizes, Dr Ph Martin's black star waterproof ink, Daler Rowney acrylic inks and watercolor inks, Princeton watercolor brushes - Select lin, Heritage line, Neptune line, Velvetouch line. I recommend a round size 6, 8, 10 & 12, a size 6 liner, and a 3/4" stroke brush., Sumi brushes, Copic-sketch markers, handmade ruling pen- you can try any other type of calligraphy style pen to draw with in place of this :)
