That pub was Craig Charles local, till he got caught doing crack in a taxi lol. Howard's way was based in the boatyard next door. I would have to check the red jet times to avoid it, that'd be some scary shit that approaching. Top tip....stick your bottle in a plastic bag, then you don't taste sea water each time (but then again you have a bladder on your PFD) I'll get my coat.
Brilliant info. Cheers mate. I usually try to make more effort to gather facts before talking but didn't do it this time. Indeed, there is a bladder in the pfd, but its a pain to clean so if its not a long trip I don't bother.
Lower Swanwick Car park is a great entry point but can get busy. We have launched on the slips by the side of the A27 bridge and parked cars in the Bursledon train station car park before. and on really hot summer days you get Ice Cream boats on the Hamble, just got to learn to eat an ice cream and paddle at the same time.
