why don’t D16 update the plugins that are already available, i have been waiting for various drum machines to be updated for a long time, They are so much slower to update than everyone else.
Did they ever fix and the 808 engine and make it able to play tuned bass drums - pressing C would play a kick tuned to C, etc? I dumped Punchbox many years ago when I found out that it couldn't play 808 bass drums in tune with the key pressed.
@@pauliedibbs9028 Drum machine may not have been the right, as I would consider a drum machine to have a sequencer. However, you’re wrong saying a drum machine has to be a sampler. A TR-808 is not a sampler. It definitely is a drum machine though. The point I was making was if you want to make 808 bass sounds, you want a synthesiser or sampler designed to produce melodic patterns. Not a drum synth.
There are comments about pitch control for the drums, there is a midi effect you can add to the audio effects view in Ableton to adjust the pitch of the drum.

How about pitching ! Root Note ! It s in my opinion the most important ! In your demo your kick is out of tune !
