  • If you are one of the many people I hear criticize the Honda CT 125 stock seat, use your existing seat and visit a local upholsterer . Pick the thickness of your foam, the material you want to wrap the foam, maybe a gel pack and another thin layer of closed cell foam inside. Kind of like looking at a menu at Applebee's. When it comes to seats let the professionals tell you what the special of the day is. Support your local businesses and not the rip off after market con job artists.

I'm excited for you. I'm looking forward to seeing how it holds up. I've been looking for a softer seat solution for 6 months. I contacted a local reputable motorcycle seat upholster. I asked for a gel/foam application. He said they stopped doing that because it didn't hold up. I was quoted a softer foam. He hadn't worked a Cub seat yet. Quoted $500 to $600 range. I held off. Thanks for the pics and I'm going to maybe try again with pics in hand

I will also be very interested to see how this holds up. In my opinion, it looks and feels like a product from the Honda Factory. No flaws visible to my naive eye at this point. There are literally millions of small CC motorbikes in the Land of Smiles, and certainly to earn a reputation one must produce a quality lasting product. Narong has succeeded in earning that reputation. Good luck with your quest.

I agree with Finding Neutral.. "😐😮😲🤯 Holy crap! BEAUTIFUL! You now officially have THE BEST CT125 SEAT on the planet. " I also appreciate the shout out on the tax pipe.. Finding Neutral and I talked last week about getting together for a meetup ride and dual video shoot in Jacksonville in a month or two, maybe on Monkeys, maybe on Trail 125s or maybe both? LOL... I'll keep you posted. I really enjoyed this current video, and the shots of the Temple and lottery tables at the end were a welcome bonus.. thanks again.

Well, Daniel BP I decided to follow your footsteps seat wise. I found a local reputable upholstery shop willing to take on my CT125 seat rebuild. I'm going ahead and sacrificing my OEM seat. It was a hard decision, until I thought about how HARD the seat is. I cannot deal with a numb ass after 10 minutes of riding any longer. I will definitely post my seat transformation and overall thoughts of the process. Wish me luck 🙏

I wish you the best of luck and happiness. I think that you made a educated, well thought out decision and moved forward with it. I cannot stress enough how pleased I am with the new seat. Were you able to pick out the color and material used? Did you go with a one inch foam cushion with the cut out Gel pack inserted? Can't wait to see and hear about the results. I am so happy that I was able to assist you in this process.

Lovely stuff, I’m in the UK 🇬🇧 but the same would apply for the USA 🇺🇸 start your own business shipping these out. The Thai websites and eBay shops are a rip off, set a price with an honest mark up so all parties are happy and you’ll have a sweet side line going. I like your idea a lot. Several other people have mentioned the same concept. My retirement VISA here in Thailand does not permit me to be involved in any businesses that would generate income. I just do not want to jeopardize my current situation in the million to one chance I raised a red flag and Thai officials became aware. The cost of shipping even a small package just to the US is a minimum of $100.00USD. Even if I did do it, the cost of the customer shipping a seat to me, having the upholsterer complete the project, sending it out and me getting minimal compensation for the efforts, I just do not think the end result would be worth the cost. Let me think about it some more, might have a few ideas in mind. Take care.

You can't get that kind of quality work done for any price close to that in the states. Those riders in the US are jealous for sure....... @@PandA-yx5ne I purchased a long seat that is really easy to install and it works great for most of our riding. We went on some really rough and rocky terrain yesterday. Thinking real seriously about taking that long seat in and having them put me some padding in it. My only problem with it is I'm not very tall and it adds a good two inches to the seat height and then I might have a problem touching the ground. When I ride Roberts or Daniels bikes, I can definitely feel the height added to it from the softer foam they add. But after yesterdays ride, I'm really thinking my butt needs the extra padding......

I know that might be wishful thinking. But couldn't hurt to ask. I was just about to type and ask how comfortable was it on a scale of Monkey Butt? But you just totally answered my question. Man, I gotta get this done to my bike. That seat upgrade will no doubt be one of the absolute best upgrades you will ever do to your Tank. Cannot put a price on comfort 😍. Thank you so much for the video AND still shots at the conclusion. Top shelf my friend. Eddie's bike color is Fresco Brown. He should totally get that seat upgrade. Good Afternoon, a stock Red CT (or any other color available) out the door from the Honda Cub store in Chiang Mai is 86,000 baht or approximately $2,380 USD. To ship, I have no idea what that would cost. They are selling stock CT's in the US for much more, dealers are getting greedy due to lack of supply and a high demand. Contact the Honda Cub store here in Chiang Mai and ask about international shipping. You will have a language issue so it may be best to email instead of a phone call. Cannot hurt to try that approach. If you need my help with anything, please do not hesitate to contact me. Good luck

Hey Daniel, posted this on Okie’s page as well but wanted to run this by you. I’m from Atlanta and just got my Trail 125 2 weeks ago. Trying to get a few accessories and figured you two would know best being in Thailand. I see you have the h2c headlight guard. Would you suggest I go that route or Motoskill? Welds look better on H2C and the shiny paint matches the finish of the bike. Motoskill looks a little more durable, especially the center rack. Motoskill is also cheaper since the headlight guard comes with a rack on beez deals. Just wanted to see what you thought since you’ve probably seen both.

Good Morning Alexander, I just red Eddies response to your inquiry. I support his comments and suggestions. Personally I like the G-Craft center rack the most. The tubular thick design looks bold and tough. Easily allows a CT bag to be attached. Again, low center of gravity and easy weigh distribution whenever carrying anything heavy. Congratulations on your new CT as I know you will love every minute on board. Look forward to hearing what your other modifications and add ons will include - if any. Thanks for watching my videos.
