Yes
The two wires to the HID ballast connect to +12V and GND that supply your low beam. The two wires coming from the projector connect to your high beam +12V, which is used to activate the solenoid that pulls the low-beam screen down to allow high beam. If you are connecting this to a single H4 socket, they usually turn the low-beam filament off when high beam is activated, which will turn your HID off. There are H4 adaptor kits that permanently power the H1 bulb by using either the low or high beam input, but use the high-beam input to also drive the high-beam solenoid input.
In my 2004 Mazda 6, I have a H1 low beam projector which I'm going to replace with this, and a H1 high beam reflector lens, so I'm going to parallel the high-beam input from the reflector to the projector solenoid to create four-bulb high beam, as the existing high beam is more of a pencil beam. These projectors give better high-beam spread with plenty of boresight intensity, and have clean cutoffs for low beam...
...none of which you could see in this video. But yes, the title does say test, and that is what happened-everything was tested.
