- Introducing The Chord Pilot Midi Chord Generator.
A Eurorack based midi controller for creating massive polyphonic chords, arpeggios, strums and circular chord progressions without a keyboard. Let Chord Pilot inspire your next tune by providing access to generative chord algorithms and sequences using CV inputs, allowing you to control harmonic parameters or simply to select one of 192 different chord presets. Use the strum control to simulate guitar and harp glissandos or just assign a massive 8-note super chord to a single button. Ideal as a companion module to our Poly Cinematic module but equally compatible with any poly synth fitted with a midi input.
The legend continues. Very cool.
Your demo inspired me (plus the Knobula ones) to buy the Poly today. Cheers 😊
@@johnmckenzie6941 hope you dig it!
cheers from Cologne!
Seriously excellent demo Knobula !
Looks like a great partner for the Poly Cinematic!
The idea of using midi just like cv or audio in euro is long overdue
Ordered the poly cinematic today. Arrives tomorrow. That's pure genius 👍 this looks amazingly helpful also. Thanks to @redmeansrecording for his demo. Helped me decide.
You wont be dissapointed
That jam at the beginning gave me some good Orbtial vibes.
Very interesting
Looks cool. What CV inputs does it have? How many chords can you sequence?
Cv inputs for Gate, Bias and Buttons (assignable to preset select, circle of fifths, modal) everything else midi cc. Sets of 8 chords can be sequenced.
Awesome! Is it possible to define a key - and to select diatonic chords for the eight slots? (That also could be accessed by using CV from a sequencer)?
Thanks for your help!
Yes it is. Instead of preset chords the buttons can be assigned to different modes of a scale and the buttons can be selected by cv. The key can be defined by the circle knob.
@@knobula_synths That’s fantastic! Will be an instant purchase - can‘t wait 🥹❤️
do you need a TRS cable to carry the midi signal, or will a normal TS cable do?
It comes with a trs cable
@@knobula_synths So does that mean I need a TRS cable for the midi signal?
I only plan on buying the poly cinematic, and carrying the midi signal from my ES-5 through minijack only.
@@tanchwa3740 for midi you need trs. Poly cinematic comes with trs type A to 5pin din. Not sure if your sequencer is trs a or b, you may need an adapter unless it has 5 pin din midi out
Arturia and Erica Synth sequencers using type B
Type A is the standard. Like Korg
