Others (Dave Mustaine) lose the voice that made them iconic, but can find something else that works really good for them (compare Countdown to Extinction to Dystopia). Tom's voice is still just as fresh as back in 1986

One of the last times I saw slayer Tom hit the high on angel of death in the beginning! I saw them like 3 times before and he never did that
