Cassie is a mortuary assistant who can hear the final thoughts of the people whose bodies she is working on. When she examines a body and sees something out of the ordinary, she investigates to see if there was foul play. There are four books in the series so far and they were so good!
I've just read the first one in the TM Payne series (Long Time Dead) - and you can read them all in standalones - and the first one is BRILLIANT. Can't wait to dive into the second and third. Also, TM Payne - the author - is an absolute dream; great chat, good craic, good laughs!
