Marnus labuschange is the huge batsman of the era. Great batsman 🐐
Without lady luck he's nothing
Michael Clarke, former Test Captain of Australia= maximum respect
Clarke should be in the commentary bix! Speaks well and very clear in his thoughts!
Aussies really want Rohit and Kohli to be in the playing xi 😂
Nerolli is absolutely electrifying the anchoring!
Konstas is the new King
Calm down guys, just because a test is won in the last session after a little while people go nuts. At the start of the final day only two results were possible.
And Marnus 70 on the 4th day proved Game changing for Aussies he was rock solid and saved Cummins to face Bumrah
What an epic test match, can't wait for the result in Sydney! 🔥
Michael Clarke was my favourite player growing up. But I still can't believe he retired so early when he clearly had unfinished business in winning the ashes in England. He would of had 12,000 test runs if he played for another 4 years.
He talked about this in general a year ago regarding older players on this same channel. He did not specifically refer to himself but he said off field things like Rehab, team meetings, the media, ice baths, training can wear players down and they have enough of that side of it. In his case I thought it was recurring hamstring injuries and his back was always there as an issue in addition to that, thats what I recall anyway in relation to Clarke
Clarke could barely walk at the end of his career, his back was cooked.
back and hamstring issues
We now get ready for the 5th Test at the SCG on Friday January 3rd 2025 with enormous anticipation.
The advent of the wobble ball has dismantled Kholi's cover drive. HIs most potent weapon now a vector to his recurring demise.
Ego is the issue
@@mr.dhillon1999 You're right. He could humble himself and adapt.
This is such a fantastic cricket show. Incisive analysis, yet the banter and the dash of humour makes it fun to watch. Compare this to the rubbish shows we have in India, childish amd immature and settling personal agendas.
It’s an awesome show Around The Wicket on ESPN.
This is a good show but we have similar ones online by our brothers. You seem like one of those who like bashing their own country in a public forum...... one sad IItian.
Nope there are no similar shows.. try again
@@11hitmanDageniusI have seen them u should do the trying with the blinkers off my friend.
India show is all about Superstar Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma nothing else so Boring...
another suggestion regarding the "did he hit it or not" call n the lack of evidence from snicko, why not use the spider cam situated directly above the batsman
A good 10 minutes to give it to yourself 😂
What a great test
The technology didn’t show it except for all the visual evidence🤷🏻♂️
They can use CGI also... U can't trust aussies
No technology is 109% right!! Please someone convey it to clarke!
It’s the 1st episode of Around The Wicket for 2025.
one thing they absolutely MUST change, is the making an LBW decision, take away where the ball pitches as that really has nothing to do with it! Shane Warne n other spinners are classic examples of this n a lot of the seam n fast bowlers too. They should use ball tracking first where n iff the ball hits the stumps, THEN back to where it impacts to get a true perspective. Also, whether or not a ball touches the ground in concerning catches, if the ball is firml held in the hand, its a catch regardless!
Rohit's air tight technique and preparedness reduced significantly from the time he became captain, when he comes prepared and ready to go, his feet move well and he gets into good positions and that's when you don't see him being beaten on the off stump line, minimal as it may be but still accurate feet movement, big difference to no feet movement at all.
It almost feels like he didn't value his wicket as much from the time he became captain, he just started depending on his natural shots without any thorough feet movement that he once had from 2018-19 maybe.
So if he's freed up from captaincy and if he still is up for a challenge, He is still valuable for the England tour this year, we saw how well he played there last time.
The phyisical contact with Kohli MAY have not been his (Konstas') fault? It was clearly NOT the fault of Konstas. What is this may nonsense? A lot of Aussie fans are getting well sick of the impression our sporting commentators give of sucking up to India and making excuses for them because they have a lot of money. I could name a number on the gravy train or keen to get on it, way worse than what I am talking about here with this Konstas remark. I would be first in line to say Nerilee is a top quality commentator but on this occasion, get it right mate, there is no gray zone here, it was NOT the fault of Sam Konstas
He should have been suspended for that. The BBCI has politicised and corrupterlt the sport. I remember when Sachin was caught ball tampering. His excuse was he was only cleaning the seam with his fingernail. He got iff on appeal.
Kohli might be an above-average cricketer (relatively), but he is a very ordinary human being.
And yes, it is quite sickening to hear so many Aussies sucking up to the BCCI....be it making excuses for Kohli's pathetic behaviour, or making it sound like Jaiswal's dismissal was an incorrect decision.
@@Alunticstalkedme4072 The problem with cricket is the fans want a bloodsport and drama, but expect the participants to be gentlemen.
Forget history, live in the moment, this stuff fuels the fire, makes people interested in the sport. It's not like he walked up to Konstas and socked him on the chin, friendly bump "hey you're in the big leagues now", I think it's fine. With Siraj and Kohli's antics matched by some ethereal cricket we had the best attendance to cricket in Australia since the 1930's, this stuff is good.
Little bit of spice is good for the game.
Sam..ball….wow what a kid
People forget prithivi shaw now and cricket expert compare him with tendulkar so for me Sam geeting fame so early then he also learn how to deal when people agniest you
Another great episode of Around The Wicket on ESPN.
Michael Clarke does not know the protocols for DRS, If there is clear evidence of a deviation after the player has hit it on replays doesn't have to buy used.simon Taufel pointed this out. You would think Michael Clarke could do some research before he talks about subjects.
Shouldn't they be discussing Joel Wilson not giving Haiswal.plumb LBW or for the caught behind. I doubt Haiswal would of asked fir DRS for the latter.
He seems to have trouble in recent years giving anybody out playing against Australia in key moments.
Bernoulli principals..
May be high speed movement of bat along one side of ball made it deviation with close proximity definitely not by edge from bat …that’s why no hot spot
Jaiswal was not out..
Science and illusion are two non parallel lines ..definitely meets some point at some day
Really? You really believe that?
Clearly, you are reaching for an explanation to justify your bias. It deviates because of deflection, which is clearly visible. If hot spot was in play it would also be visible there. The audio microphone is way down near the stump and can't distinguish between ambiant noise and a glance of the face. If it was an edge it would of made more sound and more than likely have come up on 'snicko'. Have another look and try to remove your bias

Do Indians think this was a great Test match? So, Australia had India down and out, then let them wiggle free and have a glimmer of hope when they had the Aussies 6/85, but then Australia re-asseterted themselves.
That was the only moment India thought they might be able to win. And there fragile batting line-up, which doesn't know much other than attack, was always going to struggle to hold out for a draw with the enormous pressure the Aussies could assert.
It was a great and thrilling game in the end, but an all-time classic? Yeah nah. Only if you're on the winning side.
A proper all-time classic needs to actually see-saw between who you think will win across most of the game.
First like ❤
Head , marnus , smith , carey , cummins , stark , boland all are in absolute in form players of Australia where as from india it is jaiswal , Reddy , Bumrah. Our almost all players is full of ego and lives in their own Gloryland . Had anyone of them performed , this BGT series scoreline would have different, their non seriousness and Big fat Egos has ruined this most anticipated series for indians . By the way it was great match was good for test cricket. Congrats Aussies . Aussie Ayssie Aussie....oye oye oye !!!
Winning means change.mitch has done shit.carry him for 4 test even 5 tests sux.phil Hughes got dropped for less.my pick is Beau
Next IPL will see Sam Kontas being auctioned..If he has played the kind of strokes against Bumrah...am sure he is a hot pick already for the Franchise owners
I got a feeling that Usman khawaja might ton up in SCG
Would be marvellous if Konstas gets a ton, because it's going to be entertaining.
@@deanpd3402 nope he will be gone first , i think usman will gets to 50+
@@deanpd3402Konstas is overhyped newbie .. won't survive against Bumrah

The Sam Konstas hype train will soon come crashing down. At best he is an above average player. Harry Brook and Yashasvi Jaiswal are the real deal.
Sam Konstas is a talented young player, the question is whether he has the emotional maturity necessary to make it. Jaiswal, that boy is something else, talent to burn.....but you can see in everything her does, his focus is 100% on what is best for the team. I was disappointed when he did not bat the entire day. He would have scored 3 centuries in a row and sealed the win for India. At 23 years of age!
You're judung him from 1 test, 😂, yiu seem a butthurt!
Harry Brook is a flat track bully most of his runs have came in Pakistan until it started spinning there recently ir bAzball docotored roads..
Kobstas is a child prodigy. Some of the shots he played on day 1 were extraordinary. The Bumrah yorker dispatched to deep backward square was incredible skill. His pull shit is likened to Ponting. He also bats quite conservatively.
