A similar thing happened to me. Many years ago (around 2015-2016 probably) I was really good (though not anywhere near these guys) and got 3 crowns on most songs fairly easily. I've since quit, though I have returned for several days every couple years from nostalgia, but I can't even break two crowns on Fountain. I used to break three crowns reliably.
I got 7309 but I can do more exactly... Hope one day I can clear 8 laps easily cuz I just got 4th laps double taps cleared on Christmas Rhapsody on phone... Edit: I did this!

The reason why I don't rest more on double tiles songs is that I forget the doubles speed and after I start again I either tap too slow or too fast and die instantly XDD
