This is the answer to consumerism and its many evils. Hopefully, the younger generations will learn to conserve, reuse and retain.

Damian, the problem I find is the system which doesn't allow spaces like this, it's full of constraints and makes housing impossible for many. The SYSTEM needs to change.!

Rob, you have inspired me so much. One thing is that I like almond milk in my coffee and other things. I can go through 2 x 1/2 gallon cartons a week! I know the cartons are not recyclable and so I have started making sure I always have almonds on hand and I make my own almond milk! 5 parts water to one part almonds with a little maple syrup and a dash of salt..... and I have the pulp for adding to other recipes. Thank you for being such an amazing inspiration for so many people!

    • @Robin.Greenfield

And once you make your own you realize the almond milk from the store is super low quality. Enjoy!

Try experimenting with local nuts. Find the origins of your almonds. Here in Brazil I use Baru, that helps the preservation of the Brazilian savanna (cerrado) protecting it against GMO soy plantations , and I use brazil nuts. Almonds here come from Chile and they have a bad reputation of diputing scarce water resources.

I move to the US for a foreign country where are grow up an a very sustainable way, for many people they can say leaving poor
For me it was perfect it was like leaving in paradise,if I want a late afternoon snack it was there for me just right about the kitchen sink in our out side kitchen.
Is always being my dream to go back and give my children that opportunity to experience that.
Also have small sustainable cabins so people from the largest city can come and disconnect from their busy life style.

If you introduce Critters into your system via Allan Savory is holistic grading system you can get a use out of those cuttings yeah chop and drop
