It’s great that something like this now exists. Not only does Eastonmade make the best firewood equipment they are the most innovative constantly bringing new products to market
Well, comparing with the Japa, the Palax, the Hakki Pilke and the Regon? There is still bucking, lifting and re-splitting wood. You should lift the log on a logtable, cut it, split it, take out the debrie and put it in bags (three feet X three feet X five feet) without manual labour. Volume, speed and ease gives the money and the possibility to do it for a longer time. All the best 😉🤗🤠!
If you can afford a good wood splitter and you aren't buying this, you are buying the wrong product. This fella here really stands by his product and the quality shows.
I think that’s the best log splitter I’ve ever seen it makes a lot of sense God bless it’s always nice to see that you think your people that work for you as well hope someday I can get a chance to go up and see your place
This is AWESOME and why EASTONMADE is the BEST Commercial splitter money can buy ! you just keep making them better more user friendly , Eastonmade brings inovation to market always with a robust well thought out design . GREAT Machine !
That is certainly a great combination splitter and converyor. No need to worry about alignment challenges between 2 separate pieces of equipment. Now if you could make a folding conveyor 2x the length for the Axis, that would be awesome.
Andrew, just a suggestion. Maybe add some small bear claws to the paddles on the conveyor and maybe wider or more slope to the wood entrance would eliminate the congestion at the splitter. Otherwise fantastic looking set up.
I currently have an L30 Mighty Ox. I love the setup of this machine, being a one man show. Saving up for this one with a long stroke. Thanks for the video.
Geez, just when I think you had it covered, you pull another awesome machine out for us. That is a well thought out combination Andrew. Congratulations on the new design. Looks great and it's all-in one. Cheers!
I cant believe how far you've come since I bought your 1st gen of splitters. This setup is literally something I've dreamt up in my own head and you made it reality! Awesome stuff you got!
That’s a great looking and running machine. I like the way the conveyor folds up for storage and balances the machine. The torsion axle is a great idea too. Well done! Two thumbs up!
Can I suggest the manufacture of a saw bench fitted alongside of splitter to lift logs onto then cut with a chainsaw and roll rounds into splitter would need to be able to advance roundsto position of splitter then retract to out another log on to it.
G'day Andrew, once again the biggest problem is being able to keep the blocks up to it the wide wings on the conveyor are nice as well but as I watched I was thinking how I missed hearing the banjo and fiddle in the background and bang ! There it was 👍🇦🇺Ishman.
I love this...I was just on your website and I didn't see this option yet...I was wondering how much this will be...this will be What I want when I am ready to buy
I would like to see the conveyor and splitter go on a long road trip and see how it all holds up. If I was going to have that set up it would have to handle dirt roads and the trip to Colorado.
That is next level stuff right there. There is nothing on the market that can touch Eastonmade when it comes to innovation and quality workmanship. Keep it up Andrew. You're doing Canada proud. 🍁👍
Well, l do love what you have done, we have been struggling with old man pine, 120 years old, we have a lift but it's been good excercise. I like the size of your logs🤔😎
When Justin told me you were building one of these, I was completely amazed with the stuff you come up with. Awesome machine. You definitely stay on top of the splitter industry for a reason.
Awesome setup. If I was in better health and had the money I would buy this in a heartbeat. Keep the clever designs coming and you keep other companies trying to keep up.
Not to copy anybody else but that is one hell of a set up compared to other splitters offered. His new product lines are winning me over to his equipment for sure. Like the ease of the way he shows the set up of the 22-28 like it so far and love it that it is hydraulic and combines only the minor use of manual equipment.
I really enjoy watching all his new engineering an performance of the equipment there is alot of time an alot of pride that goes on an super fanatic machines keep up the great work
Andrew: It's been a while, your new 22-28 All-In-One Processor is a Dynamo of engineering. But there's a new kid on the UA-cam Block "Japa 315 Backyard Processor". I've heard it Max's out on 10"-12" rounds, an powered by a PTO Drive. I have two of your 9-16 & one 12-22, with elevational advantage. I don't need a log lift, just an sliding board into a trailer. Thumbs up catch you on the next one!
Well, there is about 6000 C$ difference between the Japa 365 Pro Road and the 22-28 with attached conveyor. For the money one gets hydraulic loglift, feeding and cutting, possibility to use logtable and cleaning drum or rollers hydraulically from the machine. For me the choise would be clear, but that's because of my my knee and my back. There is a solution for everyone, let's all go out and find it 👍🏽💪🏽☀️😎!
@@johanneslaxell6641 I thank you for your response. I along with a Cousin & Nephew operate an fresh split firewood business. But, at 66 I have found there's no one way of doing anything. Or the clouds part & a set of hands set a processor down, an a voice says "Go Forth and Process" . Nice finger tapping with you.
@@howard5567 Yes, I am sure that you are right 👍🏽. But at least over here (in Finland) I don't think that wery many buck the woods and split it later. If it's for business, at home it's another story. There is nothing wrong with the splitters but looking at "the big picture" there is to much labour and risks in cutting with the chainsaw and moving the woods around. Even without a logtable (just with the lifter) I think that it has to be one hell of a guy with the chainsaw and splitter to keep up for a couple of hours. It's like the first step from Fiskars-axe to a splitter. The difference is in the fact that a splitter can work as long as there is gas in the tank or power in th cables, a man can not 😉. There is cost for running machines, but a big chunk is the cost for labour. Over here I guess that the number is about 40$/hour for the labour (inclusive taxes and fees). There is a solution for us all, let's all go out to get it 👍🏽💪🏽☀️😋!
@@johanneslaxell6641 I think there was a little misunderstanding. The 8' 1 1/2" is 16" cuts plus the curse. We try to do the most in the field as we can. Like Firewood. Millwood & Dimensions. We try get the Climbers in a week early, to Liming out. An roll off dumpsters & Chipper Shredders. But when my associate Carl & his brother James shows up with the twins. Two Hitachi EX100 Excavators an a Payer For Sunny Days.
Having that conveyor connected to the splitter is one of the best ideals I’ve ever seen in firewood it’s genius and I don’t know what the cost of this machine is but think of how I can tell that with my tan truck set it up back my truck up fill it with would hook up and drive away makes me feel like that would be one of the best investments a man can make
I could see that splitter feeding onto a top load outdoor wood burner. Ya, you'd burn a little more wood because it's not seasoned, but you would not be touching it twice. We burn scraps right off our sawmill. Saves a lot of labor.
@@EastonmadeWoodSplitters Thank you... I been going through the channel looking to see what the best splitter that I think will fit my plans as I start my firewood business once we move to the homestead.
Wow Andrew you and your team have outdone yourselves once again, great to see you keep raising the bar and bringing top quality innovative products to market.👍👍
Not a better splitter on the market. Eastonmade is the only made. The 22-28 is a absolute production monster!!! This new setup just proves that innovative thinking is why Eastonmade is world class.
Thats a great design Andrew. Turned out awesome. It will save alot of trips for guys moving the machine around the yard or custom jobs. Keep it up man!
A nice combination, could you add a set of grizzly bars as well? Can you get this combination on a 12-22, and diesel models? Definitely the best combination splitter........until you come up with the next one! Great work guys
Only thing that could be better is an option to have a log cutting table right would help feed the splitter. Just like a firewood processor but separate peices that integrate together....great products great videos. Thanks
I like the fact that the tires are down stream of the log lift and it allows those of us with short arms to have easier access to the valves without having to stretch over the wheel/fender if we have to work on the lift side of the machine. Can this machine be ordered with this axle location without the conveyor or will it have to much tongue weight?
Nice looking unit can’t wait until I deal with you guys again when I want to upgrade my processor had the 5-11 but needed a mid range processor and eventually I’ll be looking for a full size processor. Cheers andrew !!
I’ve been wondering would it make sense to maybe add some teeth to the conveyor paddles so they grab the wood more. The system looks like it would be that much better at moving the wood up the shoot with teeth added to the cross bars.

yes , I agree, the axis is short, make it longer would at a lot to overall width, and maybe balance to the left side.
