1:05:00 it was in fact in some of the logs, maybe actually go to the greenhouse and get the logs there too. after exploring you will in fact find the log that says she stashed it.
there is even a map in Sam's room. On this map she had circle the cavity in which she hided the antidote.
You should definitely play the first one! I've really enjoyed playing it so far

First off, I’m a new subscriber second if you think this game is crazy just play the first game… however, for the love of God, do not use the wiki for the first game, because it is honestly one hell of a roller coaster of emotions.
you know you can rotate what you build with the scroll wheel, right?
you were complaining that your moonpool and seatruck dock didn't connect when you had them facing completely different directions.
And that and Sam does infact state that she stackes it in a Pengling research cave and even gives a gerneral area of which one it's in, this being in the log "No Turning Back"
After rotating them multiple directions they never connected. Maybe that’s my fault but I couldn’t get it to do the thing
Also just saw the no turning back log and that’s totally on me. I never saw it on initial play through and never read that log even though I thought I found all the logs. So I concede a point to subnautica. Still don’t like the maze though but that’s just cause I hate mazes
@@Eqlipsealso there are maps in your data bank under “Logs & Communications”> “Maps” that should at the least help make it no longer a maze, though I'll admit they are not that helpful, also, I'd like to point out that you skipped the earlier section of the land portion of the game until after using the portal back from the later section as a method of going to the earlier section, making things a little more complicated than needed, also you actually can use your PRAWN suit on land via a ramp farther to the left of where you entered land normally to avoid the cold and although unintended, you can move faster than the hover bike via a combination of the grapple and the jet upgrades, I also used the internet on my playthrough and put nothing against you for doing so, but rather I hope to help better your outlook of the game as I don't want you to leave the game hating it
I believe that you were needing to place the seatruck dock farther from the moonpool than your attempt after testing it in my game as you need to place is as if it is disconnected and it will fill the gap with a tunnel in it's building highlight
1:05:12 Sam does actually mention that she hides the cure in a cave that only one of her spy penguins can find. I can’t remember which log but I know it’s there. She says something like “I hid the antidote south-east of the leviathan cave, hidden in a spy penguin cave. Which is total crap since I to had to google the location to but ! If you finish Marg’s story and get all the clues from her the only other hint I’ve found is “I've already synthesized an antidote and stashed it in a cave… I can go grab it and...“ then she gets cut off. But in the glacial basin there’s a also a map with a pda that says:
I've synthesized the antibacterial agent-- (rueful laugh). I know my biochem at least well enough to do that much. I've stashed some away in one of the Pengling research caves, south-east of the leviathan. That was probably the easy part.
Anyway just thought I’d mention it 😅 the lore is so hidden in both games but it’s all in the pda’s … like everything
The things in the void are not Ghost Leviathans. Those are Void Chelicerate's. Ghost Leviathans are much worse than those. You should definitely play the main game though if you wanna see them :)

See, people keep saying that the information exists, but the problem is that it's so hard to get to. The fact that you had all but two logs, and THOSE TWO were the ONLY ones with the information is a problem. This game is even more punishing and unforgiving than Subnautica, and requires you to be even more thorough about learning things than the original. It trades off some with the leviathans not instant-killing you, but when you had things like the Colossus in the original, and the game was less of a constant confusing maze, and you could fight the leviathans more easily, it's not much of a trade. You can say 'oh it screwed him over not reading the lore', but you have to consider players like EQ in your game design. Subnautica is not some cerebral puzzle game where the point is to gather all the clues possible to solve the mystery. It does not make sense for the game to require you to suddenly treat it like one to complete it. Especially when you aren't particularly encouraged to do so early on. You can fumble through the whole game without the logs until the end where you hit a wall out of nowhere. It's bad game design.
Also ironically in the original game there was a way to drill and remove rocks and terrain in the beta, but they took that away. They definitely should not have, as the base building is significantly harder without it. Also for some reason people love to advertise Subnautica as a kind of underwater minecraft with all the building and stuff, but as shown here - and true in both games -you really don't build your base much. You have no reason to do so. It's a very neglected feature that just exists to remind you of what could have been.
I have MAJOR Thalassaphobis but for some reason I can watch it. Tried playing the first one, gave up within a few hours cos I got killed by a Leviathan and almost sh!t myself.
I have a fear of deep water.(the phobia he said in the beginning) so watching this was interesting. I screamed more than once EQ! But awesome vid lol

1:05:18 When u are in Maida's greenhouse there's 2 PDA's, one of them is Maida and Sam talking about the plan of destruction of the kharaa and the first thing Sam says in the log is that she stashed the cure in one of the pengling bot caves on the island Lol :D (Yes, i'm a Subnautica nerd..)
What I love about subnautica characters is that they are surprised to find alien life on an alien planet. Image going into a jungle and being surprised to find a monkey.

i'm at day 65.. did you ever realize that you can make a suit that protects u from low temps? (there's also one that protects you from high temps which allows you to take less damage from the lava blasts)
in my first playthrough of below zero, I found outpost zero early on, and immediately got stuff I apparently wasn't supposed to have yet.

Hey eqlipse idk if you've got this tip but thought I'd try to help you out if you play again.. you can go to your settings and I don't remember which tab but one of them let's you turn on a highlight for interactives, such as ores and other things
Fun fact the plain prawn arm does a lot of damage

Don't feel bad about it taking you till day 6 six to make a compass it took me until I scanned all of the architect parts and cured the Frozen Leviathan before I finally made one
And the lore is such a major part they messed up not having you play subnautica first before below zero you would know all about Marg

Yep.. Big downfall was a lack of marker beacons and not plonking a simple I Compartment base down with a fabricator / equipping the fabrication module to the sea truck as the closest base with a fabricator becomes your respawn point.
SN 1 Is much better
1:00:20 you got lost as a punishment for being unprepared. that is not subnautica's fault. all you need is common sense to realise that 'i might get lost in this new area, i should mark where i came in.' and placing a beacon at the bridge. you were punished for being unprepared, so that next time you're expected to adapt and become prepared for whatever punished you. if you don't enjoy that, that's fine, but it's also not the game's fault.
