No you can't
I've tried restricting. You wont get notified for new chats but you can search up your convo on messenger and you can view if they have sent you a msg.
Spamm>>>>> Restrict
1st i will restrict an account, then i could not unrestricted & send any message.Now, I blocked the account and the account show in restrict list at this moment.
