Just got one of these in the mail today. Blown away by the quality. Sharpest out of the box knife I’ve ever purchased. Fit and finish is outstanding as well. Presuming it holds up, and I have no reason to believe it won’t at this point, best knife purchase I’ve ever made. Well done MKC!
I actually just got the opportunity to interview Kevin - podcast is on my page - also did one with Josh Smith....great guys and I love this knife! They hit it out of the park on this one!
I love my MKC X FCS EDC Knife. Y'all did an amazing job on it! PS - for those interested, I had Josh Smith (MKC) and later Kevin Estela (Field Craft Survival) on my podcast. Video versions on my page. In Kevin's interview, he talked a lot about this knife and the collaboration.
@ for like 5 min! Lol. Not hate. I was at work and saw the email like 5 hours later. By then it was all sold. It seems Lt wright is on that same level lately. Ive been waiting for a Genisis scandi in 3v for 8 months
I feel like the k ofe needs a little more of a pronounced gaurd . Maybe extend it and add a bit of a curve to catch the fingers . Great knives. I'm looking ro get the speed goat mini .
I love the look of this knife, but it's just a little too expensive for me as I am just a much older less money having Veteran. Do you have any imperfect specimens you would let go for less?
It’s an excellent looking knife, I love the video and would really like to own it one day. But that price Man! I have an ESEE 3 on my boot for concealment as my edc and it’s half the price. I know that you use better steel, plus the funds are going to Americans and it’s Mike Glovers edition knife. But that Price Man!
Fieldcraft restocked today 11/2/24). I checked my email 10 hours after its release, of course ‘Sold Out’. Sh!t… I need to check my emails every 10 minutes…
Why is everything you make over $300? Sorry, but there are many of us that just cannot afford to spend that on a knife. Sadly we would also like to carry a good EDC knife.
Bc they're making everything using honest labor here in the US instead of slave labor overseas. American made products haven't gotten more expensive, our dollar has lost value over 40 years of shipping out jobs. A person making a knife puts 5-7hrs of labor into the blade and another 30 min on the sheath - obviously not including heat treatment or tempering time. Low income after Bidenomics is around $50k/yr. If he pays his employees $30/hr, which is decent pay, the labor cost alone per knife on the low end is $165 + benefits. When you start adding up the depreciation and wear on equipment along with profit and taxes, you get a price tag around $300.
@@atxjaphotos4217 honest labor, but not honest financial rates. There many great countries in the world that charge an honest rate. Not everything from overseas comes from China. Look around you, Americans are buying foreign. Why are they is the only question. It's always about cost. Americans just cannot afford anymore to be screwed by their own.
@@lifetruth.2631 I think you tried saying exactly what I said, but you made a few random assertions, so I'm not sure. American companies using American labor have to pay honest rates bc if they dont, they fail or export jobs. It is that simple. If you aren't buying American made products, then you are part of the problem.
We make them in CPM Magnacut now (this video is over a year old) and for being an American made knife, including the kydex sheath and a 100% guaranteed lifetime warranty and maintenance program it’s pretty on par with other companies at similar quality. Thanks for your comment!

An outstanding knife & sheath, a beautiful form created by a function, force & skill.
Thank you so much!
That indexing with the higher back of the sheath is brilliant. No one else does that, I think.
We have an updated sheath coming, too!
Just got mine the other day, and this is a fantastic knife. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into it - simple, versatile and very capable.
Long term follower of Field Craft Survival
Longer friend of Kevin
Good dudes
Look forward to scoring one of these

That thing looks like it would make a damn good steak knife so you can survive a Waffle House steak 😆
BS why don't you show how it carries inside your pants and then give a demonstration on its actual intended use??
A little pricey, but hey, I told my wife my $1k pistol was only $500...😉
Give it a legit 90 degree spine before calling it a fieldcraft survival knife.
Ricasso is unnecessary waste of steel
I think I need one.
