Your body sends signs that you need to replenish the water you lost in your eyes, so you get tired. Blinking makes your eyes wet again, and sleeping is basically blinking for a longer period of time. The longer you have your body shut down, the more you can replenish. Of course, sleeping is not going to fully replenish the water you lost, so you might feel dried out when you wake up, so drinking water after taking a nap also help. Also, crying just naturally makes you feel tired ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
