Seeing Brian Gassaway damn near brought a tear to my eye. I worked with Shonie and Brian around the time this was made. Both genuine guys. Brian gone way too early. RIP Brian. Keep doing your thing, Shonie.
I understand what your saying, however its not like once you BUMP it doesnt hurt at all, and thats what makes it real. Pro Wrestling is planned entertainment but most of the moves do infact hurt.
Shonie has it going onin all aspects! And why is it that people get intimidated when a man wears spandex?! (for the comment from Einarr1989) If you see a man in lycra and that's not your thing seeing his "junk" then DON'T LOOK! As for me, I'm Looking!
The only way Ive ever been able to hit this throw is as a counter to a koshi guruma. Its a lot easier to perform if the guy has his arm around your neck..
Hey everyone, I had a question about this technique, the ura nage "belly to back supplex" its very simple if anyone can pls comment back or write me a pm message i will appriciate it like you have no idea, and hey maybe there is something you need help in that im really good at :) thank you n thank you for posting this video :)

Wow Shonie, you're so serious when you teach ;) I love this lesson ;)
@nightfox928 Technically it's different-in the german suplex, the opponent goes over the head while in the ura-nage, they go over one shoulder.
Nice throw by Mr. International himself!
thanks shonie
In Judo it's called Uranage. (Rear Throw)
I do both wrestling and judo and in judo I was doing rāndori with my friend and I hit ura-nage
whats this called if i turn him around in mid air and land on his stomach
A better move ;-)
When will we learn to use drums in our fight movements?
Lol I saw the drums in the background too lol
I have limited experience with this technique, but I may be able to answer your question. What is it?
im so gunna use this move in my next turney
thats EXACTLY how Kurt Angle does a Release German Suplex
I dont see how its fake...its the EXACT same move as shown as in this video, so how is the suplex fake??

@digdawg299 Belly to back takedown, I believe.
Ura-nage means rear throw in English btw
