How to join knitting in the round without a gap

Learn how to join knitting in the round on circular needles without a gap. There is a little knitting trick you can use when you're working in the round on circular needles to join your project in the round. I like to cast on one extra stitch and pass that extra stitch over to the left needle and then knit it together with the next stitch. Works every time!

Interesting technique. I know so many people prefer to just start knitting and deal with the jog later. I cast on an extra stitch, slip the first stitch on the left needle to the right needle and then pass the extra stitch on the right needle over and off the needle. And then tighten. It works great. I must admit I’ve never seen this technique before. I’ll definitely give it a try and compare. Thanks for sharing.😊
