Bunkers are primarily from the first world war, as during the second one all of the bunkers were centralized on the modern border. During WW1 though there was a larger battle for the country and forts were built all around France.

when i was living in germany i lived in the neighborhood of Netzaberg close to the artillary field of Grafenwohr which is the US Army base we were stationed. Every weekend the army would be firing off Arty , it would go on all night long and you could feel the impacts, it would shake the house a bit. after a while you would be able to tell the difference of incoming and outgoing rounds. it was scary yet calming. one night of our scheduled barrage a round came close to the neighborhood and shook the whole neighborhood awake, my Father being a combat vet during heavy fighting in Baghdad woke up in such a fright that he began pacing around the house trying to calm down, it took about a hour or so but he kept muttering "this aint shit this aint shit " on his way back up stairs. he later told me when we moved back state side that he couldnt stand the Arty some nights, being a naive teenager at the time i replied with "i like it sounds cool and soothing" he then said its not soothing when you see a friend get blown up. I now listen to these noises think of the men who had to endure such torture day and night. Artillary still plagues the battlfields today ...what a world we live in.

Don't worry kid, it wouldn't sound this clean with 1914-1918 recording equipment. If it was actual audio from those years, all you'd be able to hear would be distortion and screeching. So, no. Not actual audio from the war. Btw, all the audio you hear from WW1 videos/documentaries are exactly this, modern audio re-creation. Silent movies, remember?
