My mom always used four strands of embroidery thread. For me, that was the hardest part of this craft.....separating the threads. She liked the way 4 looked.....she was fantastic too. Miss her.
ugh i don’t have videos off the top of my head but i know a lot of people don’t tie their stitches! in japanese sashiko embroidery if i’m not mistaken they do this back and forth stitching that basically locks in the thread. i’ve done that before
I'm very much a beginner. This video very effectively shows how to knot the thread on the needle and to knot the work at the end. ua-cam.com/video/IOwzJDC5-MA/v-deo.html
Embroidery calms me down ....I have anxiety problems and this focuses me on slowing my breathing and relaxing and I'm so much nicer to be around lol.....
@@kincommunity This is the first video, first instruction I’ve seen on embroidery. I’ve wanted to do it for the longest time. So I’m starting the research 🧐 and then going to buy a starter kit!
Hi I have been looking at different video but can't do the stitches still a. Getting worked up losing interest which I don't want to lose for years I wanted to learn this please help me am slow.
I've watched a few different videos showing these different stitches, but what no one ever does is give examples of when you would use certain stitches.. Like, ok, great, i can do a back stitch, but... why? is there a reason that particular stitch would be used over another? or is simply "it looks nice to me".
Using a Velcro round to separate floss strands is awful. It damages the floss. Simply hold the thread approx 1/4” from the end with one hand and tap the end of the thread with a finger on the other hand. Keep tapping right against the end of the 6 strands and they will separate easily. Pull ONE strand out at a time straight from the end. Ps: this video drives me nuts. Why change the angle Of the camera just when you’re showing how to do this ditch? You’re not actually showing anything. Just put the camera over top of the hoop and leave it there.

Never thought about combining different colour strands. Very good!
This was filmed so well and the music went great with it! Thank you for making this entertaining to watch lol
Maybe I’m too beginner but no one ever shows how they tie off the stitches. Or how to knot the thread on the needle
Good question! I would like to see how people do that too. My backs are a mess.

buttttttt that being said i’m not a careful embroider by any measure.

You are not beginner at all. Sometimes I question myself too, especially to tie off stitches.
There is something so therapeutic (to me) about embroidery!!
We agree! :)
Just watching it is very calming and I cant wait to do it myself for the first time tomorrow 😍

Fue relajante ver este tutorial
thank you! you are by far the easiest and informative tutorial and it didn’t have much talking. thank you!🙏
Love the music. Video is easy to understand and I actually prefer non-speaking. Great job
The combining colors! I’m ready to go do this now!
I just love the music😍
🎶🎶🎶😍 me as well!!!
great job👍
very helpful thank you!!!
loved the music
I love the background music so much!
My kind of video- quick & to the point! Lol
What fabric should you use?
Embroidering is so much fun, My cousins and I embroidered a table runner for my sister’s wedding!
Simple and helpful! But how do you tie the knot when threading the needle? Do you tie a knot?
Just use berts bees beeswax for the conditioner. cheaper
Why use conditioner? Sorry im new to this :)
@@tori4297 It threads easier and won't unravel (come undone)
@@LittleSerboLamb thank you
I've embroidered most of my life and never used conditioner on my embroidery thread
May be something to it, I will try Bert's bees wax
Thank you for making this video. I'm just beginning, and the demonstration is very helpful.
The separation of the thread!!! 🤯😩 genius!
I also love the music. Who is the artist?
Ilike the close ups, a lot!
this was very straightforward :-) thank you!
This may sound random but I love your nail polish colour! Do you remember what brand and what the colour is called?
Thank you for this!
Simply beautiful, thank you.
I love the music.
Hatur nuhun, Kin :) Wish you have a blessed nice day ahead
watch this for *education* and *art*
beautifully shot video!
Super work
Love EVERYTHING!!!! 😊☕
This is very helpful, why is this disliked?
What is your favorite embroidery stitch?
what's the nail polish color used in this video??
I love French knots....they're so cute.
Very useful examples and video is made very well! Thanks a lot💜

Music is great.
My favorite Chanel
Thank you for making these vids!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️ very helpful and beautiful too!
Hey cool embroidery I luv these doing...!!!!!
5hankyo7 so much for this simple yet beautifully executed tutorial
this video is very relaxing
This is such a great video! So helpful and interesting to watch🐿️
can someone differentiate split stitch from stem stitch? thank you.
Amazing. Thank you.
cool
Are wooded hoops more reliable or plastic ones? X
Yes they are.
I have a question : exactly how many strands I have to use during inserting into the needle ?????
It's your personal choice but I use 3 or 6. I find 4 a nice amount but I always feel it's more work and kinda wasteful
See what you like on a tester fabric and go with your own choices. Always have lots of hoops and different sizes of hoops
Amazing! Good idea!
Thanks Bianca! Glad you like it! :)
Can i use ordinary thread for embroidery? im a beginner but i don't have a budget to buy yet
what kind is the fabric?🧐
it's so fun!
Hi I have been looking at different video but can't do the stitches still a. Getting worked up losing interest which I don't want to lose for years I wanted to learn this please help me am slow.
Hi, what music track is this? thanks.
I like all the textures you can make.
Great job
Thanks!
I did it without that round thing. I'm thinking about just ordering my patch
The music was so funny i couldn't concentrate
What kind of thread do u use? Normal sewing kind?
The stem stitch could have been explained a little better. Petty vague but good video.
I can NEVER properly do french knots... They keep unwinding (idk if it makes sense)

is embroidery floss basically joint normal sewing thread?
btw love the video, it was very helpful! 👍
Good job making what I fumble through look easy and sexy lol smh
Lemmie go grab my velcro strips
Bleep Bismo I know right!? I was doing it in the most difficult way, ugh!
My auntie would just lick the end of the thread to string it through the needle
Which nail polisher are you wearing? Which color?
Beautiful video but didn’t learn anything
Now, I only need lessons on how to tie the string at the Begining and at the end, because this string is extremely slippery
sara neziri I watched Sew Anastasia’s video on sewing on patches to learn this! her tips are really helpful!
It's not string, it's embroidery thread or floss. 🤣🙏
@@lizbee726 right. I did not know how to call it lmaooo

Directions are good but too many unnecessary cuts when doing each stitch so now I can’t see how you’re doing it.
Sorry, not a good tutorial. Need to see the needle enter and exit the stitch several times. Too much editing. Couldn’t use this.
A vocal explanation of what you need to do would be a lot more helpful than incessantly peppy music going "ba-bum-bum-bum" over and over.
Had to mute it, that music was horrible.
Too short mthed of evryone.couldn,t untrsand
Worst tutorial.. not able to understand..
I speak a different language, I just stop the video to read what it's written on the screen... it all makes sense
you're rt they dont
How come you didn't tie off?
SuperNutcake yeah I noticed that too
Thank you for this!
