Thank you so much for this video. My mother, who recently passed, taught me all these stitches when I was about 5 years old. I'm 61 now & have very happy memories of that time spent with her ❤ I particularly love the cross & chain stitch.
Sorry to hear of your loss. My grandmother and mother taught me these as a child. And recently my heart is calling to do embroidery again. I can still remember their faces. It brings back such sweet memories ❤
@@maryamnaz01 Thank you....I'm sure your embroidery will be beautiful. My sister who is deaf finds great pleasure in it 🙂
Same here..also remembered School days
This is exactly the experiences i had. I am 65yrs. We are Blessed🤲🏻🙏💐✨️🥰
@@fatoomgierdien110 we certainly are blessed ❤
It's of extreme delight to see people still carrying on these arts and crafts...I was afraid they were Lost forever.... Thanks for your job.
I am 57 and my friend sent me a complete embroidery kit (from Colorado to Tanzania). UA-cam got me started. That was my birthday gift this past October 2023.
Totally agree with you

I’ve been into arts and craft since I was a child and it helped me a lot through Highschool. It’s always so nice to see when ppl my age to crafts as well bc it is more uncommon but we’re still out there!
My daughter, now 19, has made jewelry, painted, and crafted in innumerable ways since she was a toddler. She has been teaching herself (with a little help from dad) to sew and alter her own clothes.
I have always told her to respect and learn the old ways, that we will be glad to know them one day
This video was perfect for me ! I haven’t embroidered for 40 years and recently thought I’d start again. this was ideal thanks again!
Me, too! Thanks
So what os your age
Fully agree. Memory revived and revised ❤
That’s awesome! I’m
completely new to embroidery!
Me too
It’s almost 30 years for me
This brings back the old school memory of my craft class. The video is such a great tutorial, thank you.
This is an Art/Skill that shall never fade away. As a single father, I find myself using such skills for my two very young boys.
Thank you. Loved the camera angle and appreciated the lack of talking which would have distracted from the demonstration
DITTO 😺
So excited to have come across this video! I learned how to do most of these when I was young but have mostly forgotten. Now that I’m a Grammy, I really want to learn more and create some treasures to last for generations. Thanks!! 🥰
This was nostalgia...my teacher who was pretty ignorant (very strict) in giving any special attention at my struggle of learning these stitches, failed me for needle work😢 since then I worked really hard to secure good grades in academics so that I can be taught computer science instead of needle work. Looking at this video reminded me of my sampler (red colour) which I threw away eventually. On watching this video I think I still need to learn this...thanks for reignition of this interest ❤❤
My mom taught me how to embroider 50 years ago and I remember my first pillow I made. She’s 92 now. 😊 This is a wonderful tutorial on different types of stitches. I can use it to help me get started again. Thank you. 🪡🧵
I am so excited to find this wonderful embroidery work found on U tube channel. This reminds me my childhood days. My mother taught me so many different types of stitches. Now I am sixty seven. I have lost touch. But as I am watching this continuously I feel so tempting to start again. Please help me how to practice. I want explanation explanation
ME TOOO❤🎉💐✨️🥰🤲🏻🙏🌿
These skills are valuable! We need to preserve these as arts. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!!
OK, but which stitch to use when? Strengths and weaknesses.

This video is a gem for many of us who are trying to reinvent their rusted childhood embroidery knowledge again in old age.
Thank you for the class and remember all the good times I have had with my grandmother. What a precious memory. Thanks.
Thank you. Some of the stitches I already knew how to do. And others I didn’t. I am intrigued and motivated to pick up embroidery again. This video was very helpful!
thank you. im 17 and am glad to have come across something simple any easy to practice/use as reference. my dad, in his 50s, knows how to sew and such, and taught my older sibling. I'm pretty fortunate to have an easy path of learning something as complicated as sewing. To an outsider, at least
Can you plz tell me ke ye silai kha py kam ati!!! I mean kameez ke kis side py,,,,?
Вы открыли просто " вселенную" декоративных швов. Большое спасибо.❤
I learn Blanket and chain stitch when I was in junior high in my class of sewing. They teach us how to manually use this stitch method for making clothing! Love to see people still use it… ❤❤❤
I don't do embroidery, but I learned all these during my elementary school years. I'm now turning 40. My favourite stitch is probably chain stitch bec. it was the only stitch I gained a perfect score for. My feather stitch's perfect score doesn't count since it was my Auntie Zen who did it. Kidding aside, I remember that I used two colours for my chain stitch assignment, black and orange, for Halloween. Thank you for this excellent video and more than that, for bringing to fore fond old memories.
I didn't expect watching the stitching process would be so satisfying
❤ beautiful thank you, also very therapeutic, i enjoyed doing embroidery on tea tray cloths and handkerchiefs as a little girl and some for my newborn 25 years ago, been a long time ... i still have the rings and cotton, needles and clippers 😅 again thank you for sharing ❤
Oh gosh...reminds me of needlework class in convent school!!
But it was my darling, creative, busy physician mom who could knit, crochet, and do hand-embroidery too! Hugs to you for showing this so meticulously, and bringing sweet memories to the heart!
She could have used some of these to stitch up a cut or two. lol 😊 That would have been fabulous ! Especially for kids and grown-up kids like me. ❤
Какая трудоемкая работа, но как же это красиво!
Beautiful. Wonderful talent! Thank you for helping me learn something my grandmother did years ago.
Thank you so much for sharing! I don’t see at all but I was so intrigued by this video so I clicks on it and I’m sure glad that I did! Your threading skills are so impressive! I’ve always had an interest in sewing but I never got into learning. This has really fired up my desire to learn.
Thanks again for sharing your talent and skill with us! ❤️
Как все ловко, просто позавидуешь. Золотые ручки!
This is very useful, thank you. Im looking for crochet tips but this will work in many ways for me as well!

Thanks for doing this video, I do a lot of hand sewing mostly cushions, but I want to do more things so this has inspired me to try more project's...( I'm in my late 20's ) I find it has a calming effect... 🙂
Ой, прям обратно в школьные годы 😅. Когда в школе учил виды швов 😊. Спасибо.
Some of these stitches I've never seen before. Thank you ❤
I enjoyed this video. Learned some new stitches (new to me) and refreshed the others. I used to embroider as a preteen/ young adolescent.
You are a true hero for making his video. I and everyone who wants to get into embroidery thanks you! 😊
There are so many sewing tutorials but this is the 1st that was actually helpful. Straightforward, no fluff & just perfectly orchestrated. Thank you sooooo much!
What a great learning tool! Thank you for this collection!
Great video, thanks. Its been years since i did embroidery, just found my silks the other day.....this is a great video to help the old memory!!
I'm 54 yrs old now and this video bought back fond memories of my mom sewing embroideries so patiently on our bedsheets and pillow cases. Thank u very much for this video. Will show it to my mum who's 80 now 😊
Perfect execution!!! Lovely hand stitching. Amazing someone still knows all those stitches. Few people seem to know how to use a sewing machine much less hand stitch something with such precision.
This was so AWESOME to find!!! Thank you. It's a brilliant video, and you are an excellent seamstress! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I find all these different stitches fascinating! Not only useful, but also artistic! ❤
Beautiful, I could watch this again and again.
This is such a sweet reminder of the embroidery I'd learnt in school. Must begin again, I think!
Amei ! Muito bem explicado os pontos básicos de bordados, parabéns 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🥰❤️
Absolutely beautiful...back to my class..40 years back..miss my school days..we had hand embroidery classes from 3rd to nine..wish to start doing embroidery from today on
When I was in grade 5 we had this as a project of these different stitches. Made a hanky with our own design using these stitches.Love the video.
XD I love the bug that ran an hid in your tulip stick, at 8:51, even in sowing he found the flower. Also thanks for tips.
Спасибо большое что столько всего в одном виде показали 👍я тоже кое-какие швы умею делать😊
Loved your tutorial. Mom was a seamstress and now I feel the urge to create. Thank you
Beautiful work!!!❤❤❤ I’ve never seen these stitches all in one sample. Thanks for sharing! From California.
I started doing embroidery when I was in junior high and continued through college. I loved the various stitches shown, and I have many of my "creations" around the house. My daughters-in-law have taken quite a few, and now the grandchildren are interested in learning how to do "fancy sewing" as they call it.
I am subscribe your channel ❤❤
Thanks for the refreshing sheet. I'll be doing a baby 👶 piece soon. This definitely helps me.
It takes a lot of practice to get such even stitches. The demonstrator makes it look easy. What a great sampler!
This brought back my memories as a preteen and i did this alot. Awesome, thanks for sharing ❤
Excellent learning vid.
Thank you.
Blessings to you and your loved ones 🙏
Excellent tutorial! Truly helpful camera angels and expert workmanship. Thank you for this valuable variety of stitches. I adjusted the playback speed to .05 and could see all the steps beautifully. Thank you again!
These are nice even for those of us who are not beginners, including some stitches I had never seen before. This would be lovely framed as a sampler for reference purposes. Thank you.
Wow! This takes me back to my school days 😅 Thoroughly enjoyed every embroidery lesson. Am looking to revisit this valuable skill🧵🪡
Thank you for the amazing tutorial. Took me back to my childhood, watching the talented older folks. You are blessed ❤
Auch a Great Video! Perfect for learning new stitches and refreshing the ones I forgot!
Amazing summary of stiches. Great asset to keep this saved for when needed
When I was in 4th grade, I had to submit stitches like this one. I thought I did awesome until I saw my classmate's which looked like this. His mother did it for him.
I never got over it until I could do it by myself like this but man I wish we had these tutorial videos before. 😭
Love sewing. Didn't know how to do the tulip or chain stitch, so thank you.
Thank you for this amazing video, I too could watch it again and again.
My mom taught me how to embroider when I was a kid. Haven't done it in years, but always enjoyed it. There were a few stitches that I've never seen before.
I'm hoping to get back into it soon.
Very impressive stitching. I've never seen a bullion stitch before.
This is so beautiful! It’s so impressive to see this done especially in this day and age
¡Maravillosa!
Muchísimas gracias.
😊🌸🌿
My grandma taught me how to do a running stitch and bullion stitch when i was in elementary school but it is so lovely to learn all these different techniques to stitch. Thank you for this informative video ❤.
Hello 👋👋 That is soo wonderful! thank you for such a detailed instruction. I am a crochet lover, I have been creating for over 20 years and recently I have been thinking about embroidery. And there you go! I came across your tutorial🎉

All of us ..😂😂
I really enjoyed watching this video. It brought fond memories of my childhood. Mom would sit me down and make examples of this kind of stitches. Then I had to complete them. Later I would do an embroidery.❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Fish bone, rose and tulip my favorite
Thank u so much I got many new stitches introduced by you. I learnt in my childhood in standard one to eight but then after no more stitches I practiced but today I inspired with new stitches. Lots of thanks
Mind blowing, superb, thank u for this video.
Love the demonstration! Thank you. 💜
Thank you for sharing these stitches. Very helpful for me.
This beautiful stitches brings
back the memories of my
childhood teachers .They taught me very nicely.you have
given me nice pleasure.Thanks .
Very helpful! Thank you!
I’ve always wanted to learn hand embroidery. Thankyou for sharing these. 🙏💜🙏💜
Lovely stitches, as a beginner this is not helpful without some words of instruction. Thank you.
true i also feel the same
Yeahhh I too felt thisss! But the video was awesome ❤️
I agree
You can adjust the speed of the video in the settings option (looks like a gear). Seeing her do it more slowly will probably help.
Trying to learn one at a time by doing it will also probably help, because the stitches increase in difficulty.
Just slow the video down and cast to your TV and watch a couple of times. Then be ready to try and stop the video as needed and try it. I'm sure you will have little to no trouble. Start with easy stitches. Many little girls of 5 or 10 years old learn this. Also, search for other videos . I did it as a young child. You can do it ! I have faith in you. It's just scary when you first try. I wish i could sit down with you all and show you.
Love it brings back happy memries in school and how my favorite aunt and grandmother taught me some of this stitches❤️ thank you so much for sharing❤️
Thank you for not adding horrible music over this!
My grandmothers and aunts were good at these stitch designs...one of my grandmothers wore a thimble...all day, every day! I still have one of them.
Ma'am, Wish U A Very Happy Healthy Prosperous New Year.

Beautiful.. Appreciate you showing from the point of begin... Wish you could once flip it to show the back side as well, just to see how filling the threads would be at the other side.
So, as I do it more, will my stitches become more even, like yours?
Yes
Yes
Awesome! I learned a few more stitches that i didn't know before. Thank You.
Great video, and I love that you got right to it!!! 😍
This is the best reference ever.
Thanks for sharing ❤
Fabulous 💝💝👌👍
This is a terrific tutorial. I look forward to giving each stitch a try. Most of the stitches are new to me, IE I haven't tried them yet. Thanks for posting this.
Lovely tutorial.
I found it easy to follow and look forward to the bullion.
Looks like the back stitch and the stem stitch are the same, just on different sides of the fabric, does that make sense ?
If you look carefully they are not the same.
Ah, I get what you mean. Stem stitch is back stitch "reversed"? Except, Stem stitch is worked by placing the second thread (and subsequent) about two thirds along the length of the prior stitch (either above it,, or just below it but very close) but not in the same hole the first thread went down, so the result is slanted or staggered looking; slightly off-set, rather than evenly spaced, like back stitch...maybe watch both demonstrations again and you'll see the difference.
Thank you, I DO know the difference, I was just saying that it LOOKS similar.
@@Bunefoo401 apologies 🙂
@@Kayenne54 … not a problem, my comment was directed at the first comment, not yours 😁
Amazing.....soo relaxed video ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Maravilhosos ❤
Thanks for the tutorial. I haven't embroidered in ages. The video was a nice refresher course.
