I use a python hose and I got the connector for the fresh water to go into the aquarium the python works excellent instead of all them buckets

The koi will out grow that really fast. Pond fish definitely not meant for aquariums. Looks great though!
NOT TRUE koi as with goldfish will only grow to suit their tank size , they will not EVER get too big for whatever tank you put them in .I had 4 Koi in a tank that lived 15 yrs in the tank and when i built a pond i decided to try them in the pond they were 3" long for 15 yrs , once in the pond they actually did grow bigger , i had them for another 20 yrs in that pond .So if you want koi in your tank buy small and they will grow to the size that suites them in the specific tank .

Depends on your koi size I have 2 kois around 9 inches so I kept them in a L-30 × H-18 × W-12 inches

Not weekly,I used to siphon waste when I am doing 10-20% water change,
And I wash sand when I do complete cleaning

I just use tap water which is stored for atleast 5 days to remove chlorine naturally (Otherwise I use dechlorinater)
Don't use tap water directly it can can kill your fish
Usually after 2-3 days 10-20% percent water change and 70 percent water change after 15 days

If the koi fish is bigger than goldfish it will attack them and try to eat the jelly on the head of fish
In my aquarium the koi fishes are smaller than my goldfish that's why they are living peacefully
When my koi fishes grow bigger than my goldfish I just transferred them in a different tank and I will suggest you too

Drain the water in container with cotton cloth and let it cool down
