      @@demonablack you can use gorilla glue also, it has to be Cyanoacrylate or just type in aquarium glue on search hope this helps

    It’s SO refreshing to see a great natural looking goldfish tank! Too often their tanks just get overlooked and they end up with tacky bright gravel and ornaments that get covered in algae and just go so yucky!
    10/10 for you doing this, they are some happy goldfish!

      I know, I know, I'm fretting I want to do this so much, I've only got 29 gallon tanks, but my shubunkins are still *very* small, and tanks are ephemeral, right? They can go back in the pond after a wee bit, I have this NZ schist and gravel and it's sooo pretty, against a blue wall? Sigh

    Hi! I am new to the hobby and love watching your videos. Your humor and love for the hobby is great! Maybe because you keep it real and down to earth. Always enjoy watching what you have going on. My son started a 10 gallon tank and went off to college now realizing the fish are crowded. Now we are proud owners of a 30 and 36 gallon tank, but learning that the fish can live better with the appropriate room space. Have to go at a pace for the hubby's head to stay on straight :P I really hope to have a gold fish tank like this and a cichlid tank of which I have been researching as well. Lost my job as a result of Covid, but also was introduced to this wonderful hobby. Also, started using live plants for the first time as well. I hope it goes well.

    I always think on how can I setup some plants to my soon to be goldfish since I'm planning to buy them. But according to what I found out thru some blogs, sites and even tips from long-time fish takers, gold fish always dig their sand and even eat plants around them. Thank you for this maybe I'm going to try it. ❤️

  • @goldfishfilms8588
    @goldfishfilms8588 2 роки тому +1

    Looks great. Just one question. How do you clean/hoover the the tank to make sure the bottom is clean without moving everything as it looks like there are lots of little places where rubbish could lodge out of sight and obviously being careful not to siphon out the sand at the same time ? Guessing it's a delicate job. Thanks.

    It feels counterproductive, but cutting roots can be essential to encourage further growth, it’s the same for trimming stems, you cut one you get 2. Not an exact science but you get the picture. Take a tropica crypt and cut the bottom of the roots off and all of the leaves and you’ll have immersed growth far more quickly and aggressive root production. Works for me every time!
