Because they are small there tank size is good but when they become upto 9 inch you have to give them a 5ft tank I would suggest 6ft would be the best . I have a 4ft tank . I have a silver arowana 6 inch size 3 copper oscars 4 inch and 1 is 3 inch 10 tiger sharks 1 big 3 medium 1 small and 3 tiny and 2 tiny albino shark plecos 1 big 1 medium 1 small 1 medium size tinfoil barb 1 severum fish small size in the same tank This was my huge mistake to give them a so small tank. But when they grow up I will bring redtail catfish another silver arowana if possible flowerhorn hiant gourami and pacu and buy a 12ft tank for them. Beside these I have tank of lizard fish goldfishes and small fishes like guppy , molly etc. in a 4ft pool. I am thinking to buy a aligator gar.
