I've grown old watching the Rolling Stones all through the years starting in 1978 with the Some Girls album. They always make an impression. They're good at that. Mick and Keith are in their eighties. They've proven everything about rock and roll concerning its purpose and its longevity. I think there is nothing left for them to do other than what they've done all along. RIP Charlie; he'd want the same for them as well.

The longevity of the Stones is key, it's almost impossible to have a top ten of favourite or best ever Stones songs but for me this song is always in there, it's for a lot of people an unknown classic !!

Love hurts, for sure. When I was listening this song for the first time I didn't really used to understand the meaning, furthermore I hadn't yet experienced love back then. Now this song hits me in a weird way. On the one hand, it brings me back to the days when I was working my first job and was really struggling with realizing that working is actually not an easy matter. And now, as I have experienced love, this song automatically attaches to my recent experiences. By no means it eases my pain, but at least I know that I'm not unique in this misery.
