This kid is an amazing running back. If you notice when UF did actually use him last year in situations he rushed for either touchdowns or 1st downs and 20 yard gains just about everytime. He's going to be a beast when he starts
Vision is sick
According to Muschamp Taylor will be getting his first start saturday vs georgia in Jacksonville in the same stadium his dad played all those years in. Should be interesting. The kid shows a ton of potential.
40 time aside, this kid can play football. He makes people miss, and breaks tackles. Will he do THIS in college? ...probably not. But he's making a huge leap from HS to the SEC.. Give him a year or two and he will be a dominant RB at UF. That is, if Matt Jones doesn't go even more beast mode than he went last year. That guy isn't gonna give up his spot anytime soon.
Just the prospect of Matt Jones, Mack Brown, and Kelvin Taylor in a 3-back rotation should make UF's opponents fearful. Three impressive backs.
This kid reminds me a little bit of Barry Sanders, because of his playing style.
Only time will tell so us arguing is pointless, I just believe he is a solid coachable prospect he's an athlete good hands Amazing vision probably his best trait above average speed, I just fear he's a product of his competition he's playing against a lot of arm tacklers
A 4.5 is great for either a WR or RB, but any RB running a 4.6 better have some moves or better be powerful. This kid has agility in bunches and it seems more like a coached thing(his father perhaps).
Florida hasn't actually had a True dominant running back before Gillislee last year, so maybe Muschamp will change that with Jones, Taylor, and Cook.
some of you act like his father wasn't an amazing back himself. Prospects with that type of pedigree will get some help if it looks like they're going through struggles they're getting coaching from multiple angles, pedigree does matter.
HEY MUSCHAMP. SHOW THIS MAN THE FIELD PLEASE.
Runs a 4.63 plays awful competition, but amazing stop and go speed and cutting ability, solid prospect nothing special.
Where can I get this Beat!?
Calvin darvill
how is he a top ranked running back? he is not fast at all and is going against some of the weakest competition i have seen in a highschool vid. idk, but this film i see bust written all over him.
