I have also noticed the nostrils and the creative times of day. Never considered much past that. Just figured I was more clogged up on one or the other. I have been doing left/right brain, and mind heart coherence exercises.

Just a small correction: NaaDi (नाडी) is not river; that's nadi (नदी). In this context, the Sanskrit word नाडी means 'tube, pipe, nerve, blood vessel, pulse'. Thanks for the great content !
When I was in college, I had a music scholarship for vocal performance, and I had been singing incorrectly for a couple of years, developing a strain in my throat. Thankfully, I did not require surgery. With instruction I was able to slowly develop proper diaphragmatic breathing, enabling me to essentially start singing over again. This changed my life, it changed my voice, deepened my ability to sing confidently, and of course, all of these ideas translated into living more effectively and full!
I was blessed to be a pupil of Selvarajan Yesudian, starting with 12 years old. He planted a seed in us which decades later keeps developing and giving. It is about radiance. Breathing exercises are one of the blessings, and while physically allow healing, spiritually they cultivate our awareness. Thank you for your precious contribution.

I am so proud to be Hindu that everything is written by our ancestors, we just have to follow it. I am practising Siddha Yoga meditation practice by Guru Ramlal Siyag and experienced Laghima Siddhi. I became so light as if i am flying everytime i walked throughout the day. This is only 1 day experience. Like this i get different experience daily.

Cool ! :) This breath from the belly I have noticed /learned when , after I have listened to discourses of St. Germain , I have put in practice one thought suggested : I am perfectly harmonizing breath . I would lye down and think : I am perfectly harmonizing breath ; what I have noticed is that body started to breath from the belly ! :) That was surprising discovery for me and than I understood that that was way we are supposed to breath . There's laryngeal breathing, thoracic breathing, and diaphragmatic breathing, as a speech therapist most of my patients of course when they get older are anxious and not trusting and surrendering to the world and the flow of life so they become more clavicular breathers thinking they're getting more air,but they're actually straining their system and shortening their life and that's where you're going to see a lot of earl dementia too😢 because not only do the side effects of medications (Which don't belong in the body) cause cognitive decline, so does lack of oxygen to the brain when we're not coordinating our breathing. The more we drop down into our body and listen to the body we heal our physical conditions, which stem from repressed and unaddressed subconscious emotions of trauma and neglect from childhood. Instead of being distracted by the external world or up in our heads, the more we can connect with our body, the more we naturally go back to the way we learned his children diaphragmatic breathe, you will lengthen your life and prove your sleep and digestion culture toxic families and over anxious people who aren't living life properly, those who think theycontrol the world around them ..etc are where we pick up these horrible habits

A deviated septum and terrible allergies have caused difficulty breathing through my nose my entire life. The last three years I discovered facial & nose exercises/stretches that improved airflow and lymphatic drainage. Within the last year I have been able to manipulate cartilage in my nose and crack it like a knuckle, this has given me the most airflow in my entire life. There is a natural cycle of 4 hours left nostril, 4 hours right nostril, during the day. Kundalini yoga calls it sun/moon breath. But if you want to get into your feminine, open your mouth, and use a natural open mouthed breath. You'll be way more creative from there. You'll be able to feel, and release your repressed old feelings doing this, as well. Yogic nose breathing takes you into your higher self. Unfortunately and surprisingly, the higher self is the part that has the most negativity - self destructive tendencies/not wanting to be here. So people doing yoga may experience that and wonder why.

Realy impressive. Im reading patanjali yogasutras by Swami Satchidanada and its the best version Ive found till date. Also when u reach samadhi ur breath naturally begins to get jagged. A lot of these mudras don't need to be practiced but happen naturally after kundalini awakening and samadhi. Ive experienced it

I guess I have been breathing the correct way all my life, and sometimes when I meditate I get to a point where I stop breathing I may not take a breath for 10 to 20 seconds, and when I do I don't feel panicked. It's kind of a strange feeling. Great video.
I haven't watched the full video yet but that's known as internal breathing basically regular breathing is less efficient but think of it as storing potential energy that the body can use in wonderful ways

Tai Chi has some interesting movement practices to do the same thing, called Chi Flow in the Microcosmic Orbit (lower chakras) and a more extensive version called Chi Flow in the Macrocosmic Orbit (all chakras). I used to teach my high school students to meditate, even though my fellow teachers and administrators were not fond of my away from the “subject matter”. Some of those students were so stressed about their lives and would cry about getting an A- instead of an A, about a break up, getting into a good college, having after school jobs, etc. I explained why, and they knew, this was a good technique to get into a better state of being, and I didn’t want them getting into drugs or worse. We had some suicides at that time. I used any down time (maybe at the end of the hour or after each person was finished before the others) we had to go into a calm state instead of them getting fidgety or causing distractions. I’ve had students get back to me, even though I’m retired, to tell me it still helps them! 🩷
One of my nostrils is always blocked, but thankfully one of them is open too. I haven't introspected enough to know when in the day each nostril is open/blocked but I'm glad I'm not the only one that's experienced this. It's been going on for almost 2 years and the doctors just say it's nothing to worry about. I need to remove the energy blockages... I need to get back to my yoga practice, I've been slacking the last few years 😢

This guy is literally repeating whats written in SwarVigyan and saying it as his own observations. Swar Vigyan is a very old text and practiced by Rishi, Muni and practitioners in India for thousands of years.

Cool ! :) This breath from the belly I have noticed /learned when , after I have listened to discourses of St. Germain , I have put in practice one thought suggested : I am perfectly harmonizing breath . I would lye down and think : I am perfectly harmonizing breath ; what I have noticed is that body started to breath from the belly ! :) That was surprising discovery for me and than I understood that that was way we are supposed to breath . There's laryngeal breathing, thoracic breathing, and diaphragmatic breathing, as a speech therapist most of my patients of course when they get older are anxious and not trusting and surrendering to the world and the flow of life so they become more clavicular breathers thinking they're getting more air,but they're actually straining their system and shortening their life

A deviated septum and terrible allergies have caused difficulty breathing through my nose my entire life. The last three years I discovered facial & nose exercises/stretches that improved airflow and lymphatic drainage. Within the last year I have been able to manipulate cartilage in my nose and crack it like a knuckle, this has given me the most airflow in my entire life. There is a natural cycle of 4 hours left nostril, 4 hours right nostril, during the day. Kundalini yoga calls it sun/moon breath. But if you want to get into your feminine, open your mouth, and use a natural open mouthed breath. You'll be way more creative from there. You'll be able to feel, and release your repressed old feelings doing this, as well. Yogic nose breathing takes you into your higher self. Unfortunately and surprisingly, the higher self is the part that has the most negativity - self destructive tendencies/not wanting to be here. So people doing yoga may experience that and wonder why.

interesting - I have been experiencing the "not wanting to be here and the self destructive tendencies" in my Vipassana meditation. But still having problems with releasing some repressed old feelings. Any tips on open mouthed breathing or where to learn more about this?

Realy impressive. Im reading patanjali yogasutras by Swami Satchidanada and its the best version Ive found till date. Also when u reach samadhi ur breath naturally begins to get jagged. A lot of these mudras don't need to be practiced but happen naturally after kundalini awakening and samadhi. Ive experienced it

I guess I have been breathing the correct way all my life, and sometimes when I meditate I get to a point where I stop breathing I may not take a breath for 10 to 20 seconds, and when I do I don't feel panicked. It's kind of a strange feeling. Great video.

This is great work. You've studied the scriptures very well. Hanuman is considered Ashta Siddhi Nava Nidhi ke Daata, the master of all eight Siddhis and nine Nidhis despite being in the mortal realm.
Tai Chi has some interesting movement practices to do the same thing, called Chi Flow in the Microcosmic Orbit (lower chakras) and a more extensive version called Chi Flow in the Macrocosmic Orbit (all chakras). There are also warmup moves, such as Ocean Breathing.
It’s fascinating how many cultures share similar practices, like Indian yoga, Chinese Chi Gong and American Joe Dispenza practices, whatever those are called.

I used to teach my high school students to meditate, even though my fellow teachers and administrators were not fond of my away from the “subject matter”. Some of those students were so stressed about their lives and would cry about getting an A- instead of an A, about a break up, getting into a good college, having after school jobs, etc. I explained why, and they knew, this was a good technique to get into a better state of being, and I didn’t want them getting into drugs or worse. We had some suicides at that time.
I used any down time (maybe at the end of the hour or after each person was finished before the others) we had to go into a calm state instead of them getting fidgety or causing distractions.
I’ve had students get back to me, even though I’m retired, to tell me it still helps them! 🩷
One of my nostrils is always blocked, but thankfully one of them is open too. I haven't introspected enough to know when in the day each nostril is open/blocked but I'm glad I'm not the only one that's experienced this. It's been going on for almost 2 years and the doctors just say it's nothing to worry about. I need to remove the energy blockages... I need to get back to my yoga practice, I've been slacking the last few years 😢
