I wanted this to transfer large amounts of cattle feed to big drums....works great for cleaning out livestock feeders and transferring any dry material in to a large drum. ....before I was doing it a little at a time and then picking up the shop vac reservoir and pouring it into the the larger container.... This is what I was thinking of doing Thanks for the video........I also looked for adapters and found them outrageously expensive.
Well.... This was exactly what I was looking for. I need a water reclamation vac and a good one starts at 1200. You answered how to do the vac head. Now I'll have system for under three hundred dollars and I'm good to go. Oh. The looks can be fixed with a few coats of paint. Thank you!
I’m doing this for the same reason. I had in my head the same idea this guy did just came to see it done and get an idea of any problems I might run into.
I was about to rent a insulation vac for around 500$ and starting brain storming this right here. So I checked pricing thinking surely some one is selling them and o yeah, way to much, so of course it's time to make my own!!! Good video...
Thank you sir for the video, you saved me a ton of cash . As for the gentleman who talked about the seal and other stuff, its not important to go through details , most of us when we look for solutions actually look at the length of the video (short and fill full). Sir , keep up the good work👍🌹
Update-. Vac and drum are paired. Cutting the hole next to attach the hose. Then I start on installing the chemical pump to turn it into a water dispersal vac.
Holy shit I hope this is a joke! You can see right between the top part and the drum lid so no sealing at all. If you took a couple minutes more you could use the same idea but make it a good one. Guess doing this for the clicks.

Did you make one and have you used it in the field? Also are you using in a pressure washing or soft washing business?
Lol! I don’t think it was intentional, but that flammable sticker on the 55 gal drum is awesome

Hahahaha.....I know I do, not to long and overly complicated not needed. Simple, quick and straight to the point.
Necessity is the mother of invention
I think I seen that on the three stooges were they all got stuck together with the clue
Thank you! I wasn't sure how to seal it up.

I love it
That’s a great idea. Thank you for the video. Any updates on how it’s working
I want to do this with my 1 gallon shop vac motor and a 5 gallon bucket.
How much if a difference is there in suction? Is it noticeable?
The filter fell off, and the loss of suction is enormous with the amount of displacement from 20L to 200L. 10x the area of displacement.
Smart 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
The filter fell...

What size shopvac bag fits these?
I just use a 55 gallon trash bag
I was mostly being a smart***. I know Larry and I always give him a hard time.
