Great video my wife grandfather served on hood whilst at scapa flow transferred to belfast and she left looking for bismarck mine has taken me 3 years so far and no where near finished i am using pontos mk1 eduard and model monkey sets
Your Grandfather was not alone. In 1/700 scale, I think they did H.M.S. Hood in three different periods in her life, including when she carried a spotter Aircraftt in the 1930's.
My gosh it looks scary complicated. If I were to ever build this Hood kit, your video build of it would be its bible to me. But I’d probably start with a 1/72 U-boat before even looking at this kit. 😊

Steve did a great build, I helped him out at the end as he damaged his depth markers and needed replacements
