- A day out by the seaside for the generation who were always on the move, the 60's Mods, you had to look good on the beach as you did at the dancehalls at night, and of course the choice of transport getting there, the scooters and the Police Van ''Taxi's'' provided by the local Constabulary were optional .Enjoy Charlie Glasgow Mods 2013
That brought back some memories.
A bit of trivia: the guy on the vespa on the sixties sound logo is Peter quaffe, drummer for the kinks.
Hay Chaz just come across this amazing video of yours and I'm delighted you put the kinks" till the end of the day" as the sound track for this video clip,as previously mentioned in a previous comment to you, this is the tune that my mom told me I drove her mad with, playing it over and over again once I learned to master the old record player about the same time as I learned to walk!! She said I was born a mod, and it sure is in the blood! So glad to hear this tune put to one of your fantastic video's! Made my day!!👍👍👍🛵😁🛵🛵
Cool as ever. Wish I’d been a sixties mod when there was thousands all together. I bet the dance halls were brilliant then .
They were. It was a fantastic time to be alive.
Briliant video great Scooter's not a christmas tree amongst them!!!!!!
Fantastic! Brilliant footage and music! Took me right back! Thanks very much for listing!
first class footage and track selection...thanks!

Living the dream.
Superb, thank you ✊
I want to be in a scooter club!!! I got my scooter this year, and had hoped of going on runs with a club, but.....the scamdemic had to come along and cancel every dang thang in the world.....bugger.
Well did you ever get out with a club ?
Nice vid and hardly a B&Q accessory in sight 😆
Good 🤘
Brill. I notice that in sharp contrast to revival mods scoots, the originals didn't plaster their rides with lights and mirrors 😏
Mod was never a revival that label came from .N.M.E journalist after the Punk scene washed away on a tide of apathy, funnily enough Johnny Rotten got offered the part of "Jimmy " in "Quadrophenia" same as the Sex Pistols sacked Glen Matlock for his love of Abba, 🤔Ian Dury wás a journalist for N.M.E he actually wrote an article after interviewing the legend that is Billy Fury,💎👍🙏
I was a mod during the sixties ,we were so full of energy and hope for the future. Now when I walk around the supermarkets I see a load of boring old farts that turned out looking and behaving just like their parents.
i like 1960s vehicles
Fab
Where are the ladies driving scooters? Why just guys?
Good videos I'm a old punk skinhead and skinhead came out of mid have one or two old mod mates thanks for time videos mate
Today really sucks doesn’t it compared to these times ..
When did all the mirrors and spots come in? I look at these old footage and none have em.
probably been nicked by the greasers, lol!!!
Really depended on money and preference, many of the mods were from the working classes so spending more money on a cheap scooter would seem silly, spend it on clothes instead haha
Early 60s! It was about getting around, we had parkas to protect our neat clothes, for the night out!
Bling mirrors etc came in late 60s for a laugh to annoy rockers and others!
