    Great reaction! More Jinjer is good. There literally are no bad Jinjer songs to pick, but a lesser reacted to one would be Beggar's Dance. Really gives you an idea of the true range of this band!

    Nice reaction again Josh. "Pit of Conciousness" is my favorite Jinjer song, and that's saying alot because every Jinjer song is my favorite song LOL 😄😄 I suggest on your free time to check out the "official" video, it's fantastic. Anyhow, keep up the great work, looking forward to more of your Jinjer reactions, (just a heads up, you won't be disappointed, you'll love them all) peace and stay Metal. 🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶

  • @FalconFlurry
    @FalconFlurry 4 роки тому +30

    These guys are each so talented on their own, but the synergy they have when working together is unbelievable. This one is definitely in my top three Jinjer songs, up there with Perennial and Cloud Factory, and this video is a flawless performance. That transition on the drums at 4:32 seriously gets better every time I hear it.
    I can't remember exactly which of their songs you've reacted to, but if you want to finish off one album at a time I would suggest starting with Micro since it's an EP. Micro has Ape, Dreadful Moments, Teacher Teacher, Perennial and Micro. You don't really need to react to Micro because it's pretty much just an ambient instrumental outro to the EP, just listen to it when you listen to the whole EP. You said you have Ape to do, I'm sure you did Perennial and Teacher Teacher, not sure about Dreadful Moments, so I would say you have at most 2 songs to finish off that one, maybe one.

    • @Roguenjosh
      @Roguenjosh  4 роки тому

      Sounds like a plan! Can’t believe I didn’t think of doing it that way haha

    • @odell4625
      @odell4625 4 роки тому +3

      Couldn't agree more. Pit of Consciousness and Ape are my two favorites. I think this is their darkest song, and it is my favorite because of the flow of the music, but I personally think she uses her voice in Ape better than in any song. You should probably catch the official video for it though. It does not seem to have a lot of really good live performances in comparison to many of their other songs.

    • @j.f.fisher5318
      @j.f.fisher5318 4 роки тому +2

      @@odell4625 I'd suggest the "Official Bootleg" for Dreadful Moments - sound isn't perfect but it is a lot less depressing than the lyrics video - the song is about child abuse. At least Ape has Mystic Festival unlike Teacher Teacher that has no concert videos with really clean sound. I think the trouble with Teacher Teacher is they play it first so if any song is going to have technical issues it will be that one. :(

    "One of the best metal vocalists there is" without taking away from that statement by mentioning her gender. Aaaand SUB. Her gender has nothing to do with how mind blowing her talent is. Cuz lungs are equal opportunity to manipulate in that way. That being said, she is quite attractive as a bonus unrelated to her vocals.

    O.k. when you`re doing "On the Top" you have an actually easy choice between the live in Kiev version and the official Video: Easy because there is not very much difference, you wouldn`t really tell the one from the other. But the official video is very well done and has it`s own worth!

    Macro is great. Noah is probably the weakest on the album IMO. Not that it is bad, it is just a merely good metal song. Each of their records is great in its own way, from their metalcore origins with Inhale Don't Breathe to their deeply progressive new stuff it is all great.

    4:20 - "Best" is always subjective but I agree with you on the versatility. I don't know any other male or female Metal singer who uses their vocal skills so smartly and as another instrument in the band as Tatiana does.
    Btw, since you're a musician you should also include their bass, guitar and drums' playthroughs in your reactions. Not many reactors do them but I think it would be interesting to hear your thoughts and analysis, not to mention giving more exposure to them individually. The majority of the playthrough videos are on Jinjer's official YT channel but Roman has a few on the OD Guitars YT channel.

    I think back in the day record companies would give female metal and rock groups record deals just due to it was something they could market (Kittie is a good example). But the women in metal over the past decade really stand on their own as the best in their field.

    Hi Josh (?!). I really like your reaction videos, but please change something in your volume settings. The music is pretty low compared to your voice volume, what is no problem when you voice over the music. Most likely you stop the video and speak so there is no need for it. Please make the music at least the same level so people can listen properly to the music also. Despite that, your reaction videos are pretty amazing. Keep up the excellent work \o/
