The game looks a lot better than still-shots led me to believe! I will definitely be picking this one up. Hopefully my Hori Commander will work all right with it.
+emperorIng360 You really don;t get a sense of the awesome bullet movement unless you see it at 60FPS. Your Hori commander should work well!

Another steam release to look forward to when I eventually get a steam account. I think one of the biggest things I'm starting to love about a lot of these pc shoot'em up releases is that they have music that I absolutely love which is really hard to find in a lot of the video games I play. Its hard to find games in which their music style uses techno/trance/electronica/house music. I'm glad this game ended up being an enjoyable experience and I look forward to plying it when I have the free time to do so.
I'd say it's currently tied for the best one to start with along with Eschatos.
Steam controller works. You just have to use the steam configuration instead of the configuration tool the game provides. I map Y to the triggers to make the LV mode easier.

Also, B.R.M. Portable, hmm, that's a surprise there, and with the steam version being greenlit, its bound to be coming soon.

Love how the PC is getting more "arcade" style games... for so many years I had to look at consoles and drool because all I could afford was a PC. Now its the other way around especially with shmups
+Brian Froeber Aren't gaming quality computers (to play the most current games of whatever year you live in) the same or more expensive than consoles of the day? But yeah, I love more shmups are coming to the US. No more risking viruses downloading doujin games off obscure sites lol
artboy598 regardless of the cost, I am referring to the formats... I had a PC and most of the arcade games were hitting the consoles. I had a PC already but couldnt afford consoles at the time
+artboy598 well you have mame on PC and you can play til you drop dead to almost all the best shmup ever made
+Brian Froeber PC is the new modern king of the shmup, even if they are download-only. It's awful for collectors, sure, but also awesome for those just looking to play; the state of the industry is in very heavy shift right now across the board in this way here in North America especially, so that's no surprise at all. Still hardcopies of a lot of these games are available out there, though some of them command high premiums.
***** Either way.. I still can barely afford a decent PC that can handle games so it's nice to have cool games to play period
