How to get a Glass Finish on a bentwood ring | How to polish a bentwood ring

I hope you aren't missing my face too much! Here is a simple video this week of how we go about getting a mirror like finish on all of our bentwood rings. This makes sure we don't have any indents or low spots on our rings for an amazing finished result.

How long do you wait for the CA to dry until you turn it? And if you do multiple coats of CA, how long do you wait until you apply the next coat? Thanks for the video!

Hi. Can you link the polish that you are using? I looked up a ZAM polish and from what I found, it says it is not a wax polish so I wonder if I am hearing you wrong

@@mambocomet dang, are you using accelerator? If so in spray or aerosol? Anything also wet or slightly wet will also have that affect.

I always put on an plastic polish. But polishing wheel seems better.

My ring is walnut and carbon fiber and it didn't come with a clear coat...just wondering if I could send my ring to you and have perform this process on my ring for me? If not, no worries

We can add a top clear coat to it. It would end up probably going over the carbon fiber though as well. Shoot me an email [e-mail] with pictures .

Can i get the same Result using BSI Super Thin CA? I also have Gap filling (purple)

Yes you can! I used normal thin BSI for a long time before changing to the thin BSI flex. Others use a thicker glue sometimes, I never have.
