This game is so awesome. The wife and i are having a blast just jonking about in the world. Bonus, this game has introduced me to a lot of different youtubers covering it. Subscribed! Looking forward to more enshrouded vids from you! Edit:typos
Welcome to the channel! It's such a good game, so impressed with the devs and what they've pulled off and it's so cool that you're playing through together! So glad Enshrouded brought you over to my little corner and there'll definitely be more 😁
"Yes, the Enshrouded update "Back to the Shroud" adds five new temples to the Kindlewastes and three new temples to the Blackmire region. The update also adds new locations to both areas, including caves and enemy camps." That's the Google answer. Haven't seen anyone finding the new temples, everyone seems to be more into the other features of the update. I'm sure some of the streamers will go on the hunt, just not yet. Now I am curious, might go on a wander around in Kindlewastes, Blackmire just confuses me so badly, lol I love the customization, love how you can change it, per your mood, time constraints, objectives. Thanks for the video, and thanks Sverkerbonk too. Not sure how they found all that stuff so quickly, but, nice of them to share the info; I was mining everything! lol Have an awesome weekend!
Yeah that's what I saw from the patch notes too, but I'll be damned if I know where they are, especially since I don't know what they classify as a "temple" 😂 It's honestly fair, especially with the new difficulty slider I'm sure everyone is very focused on that as well as the floating castle and trying to figure out what it is. The difficulty changes are INCREDIBLE, I can actually look at doing some work on my home/other things now that I can crank the production and growing speeds, it might not be as flashy as a new biome, but it has an insane amount of impact on the quality of life of the game. And thank you! I hope you had a great weekend as well 😁
@@justingeneral I've been all over, thinking maybe the new temples are the hidden ones you have to dig up. And yes, I think Enshrouded was focused on pulling players back to the game; the Halls had a low percentage of completion. Have an awesome week..
Yeah I'm hoping someone, somewhere can clarify exactly what a temple is just so I know what I'm looking for/if I need to setup a dig site 😂 I can understand why, a lot of people in the comments were talking about how miserable their experience was trying to get through the Hollow Halls so I'm glad they've added a way to tweak things to make that a bit more manageable. Hope you have a great rest of your week!
I made Enemy tab hard so its rewarding still, Player tab I just increased my stamina to 300% so Im actually able to still fight a huge crowd.. tweaked a few survival settings, resources I made relaxed so Its more of a fun creative process than a tedious task and im having a BLAST!!!
See this is 100% how I'm looking at tweaking things, especially with covering it on the channel because the resource/crafting side of things makes the time I'm recording blow out wildly, so that'll help and not one shotting everything in the earlier sections would be great too 😁 So glad this update has increased your enjoyment of the game, the devs are really knocking it out the park with these updates!
Hahaha, well I'm glad you found it funny, I can't tell if it's an Australian thing or a me thing, but either way, I can't get used to saying it the correct way 😂
These temples are damn illusive, I really want to see them but I have NO idea what I'm looking for 😅 Oh really?! I've found a few crypts but I guarantee I've missed so many more, this game just has so much tucked away in almost every corner
@@justingeneral One of the things this game does REALLY well is how it stuffs just a ridiculous amount of things so close together, but somehow able to hide them from you. A good example is like how I made a base of Thornhold, and kept finding more and more little secrets and POIs so close to home. The exploration element of this game is just magical. I *LOVE* procedural generation in games, but I don't think they could pull off what Enshrouded does.
I was just noticing this myself, I found a location that didn't exist before. I made it a point to free the playable area of the "fog of war" from my map all the way to the Early access borders. I have new areas that I'm uncovering now, even after I conquered the Black mire. As well as new weapons on top of the daggers.
That is some incredible dedication, I haven't even done that 😅 I can't believe how much they add to the game each time, even in areas we've already been to and now they've confirmed the next update will have the mountain biome, NPC's that walk around AND a weather system? If they keep going at this rate, it's going to be my favourite game of all time
Maybe the sun temples? That could be what they've added to. Haven't played for a few weeks but need to get back into it - love the game and the music is epic!
I was thinking that too! Although they usually pop up on the map so either this is a new type that doesn't or it's something else I didn't know was called a temple 😅 Yeah it's definitely worth doing, you'd be surprised how much of a difference the new difficulty options make on the overall quality of life, especially if you're approaching/over 100 hours like me!
Mate, a pro tip i accidentally discovered, when coming to farming for eks fossilized bones,, go to the mountain range area in the west of Ferndale, where the snow was earlier and just dig in the ground, the whole mountain is Fos bones xD you're welcome! :D
Other areas the enemies are more numerous which surprised me when visiting so I could raid a treasure chest for new gear its much harder now to get it the Sun Temple in lower far right corner of the map.
@justingeneral Yep, the Skelton dog was waiting as soon as I solved the puzzle and opened the door, I had no warning, I jump out off my skin for a second or two as I ran away, because the bigger guys were fast chasing me. LoL
I was surprised by the circle of discovered land beyond the edge of the world. I have a similar spot on my own map, but it is some building I see on the mountains above the starting area. Have yet to see if I can mine my way up there. I'd want to blame the Hallow Halls, but the spots are too small given all the exploring I've done descending the first Halllow Hall the Collector was in. I'm not sure if they are spots the developers are working on that sometimes end up in other players servers...I mean my server is technically single player. Even though I've just gotten into the Highlands recently, maybe I should go off and explore out of the way spots starting with the house I saw from the top of first ancient spire.
I was kinda thinking that too so glad I'm not the only one, my map looks like it could be the floating castle but I'm not entirely sure, I would assume it's totally possible that something came through in the while they've been working on it. And 100% go and explore everything you can, some of the coolest places you'll find are in places the quests never really take you to (at least for now) 😁
@@slate613 My one seems to have turned into 6, all west by south west from the first Hallow Hall. Makes me want to make multiple pickaxes just to make my way up the mountain. Especially now that my stamina is getting up toward 300%.
@@justingeneral Exploring off the beaten path is always fun. I somehow glided and pickaxed my way up a mountain east of the first ancient spire. Don't think they expected anyone to get up there cause the area had one goat, a flat area, and almost no trees or bushes.
@@justingeneral So I accidently came up with a hypothesis for the strange visible circles. I think it is warping to other bases fault. I say this because I created a new character on my solo server. The only thing visible beyond the starting area on their map were the flame alter warp points. Rest of the map was black. Had the character warp to the bounty barn for wheat, and before warping them to my iron mine I noticed a circle on the map. It was on the part of the map I can explore, but was west by southwest from where I warped them to. So the ones close to the starting area might have been caused by the starting vault warp point and my starter base warp point. Feel free to test this theory yourself if you wish.
I've only heard good things about Guildwars 2, I'd have to look into it to see if it'd fit for the channel especially since it's an MMO, but that is so insanely cool they've added proper building, might need to check it out even if I don't cover it on the channel 😅
Try putting Spawn Rate on Many, i have fought a horde of boars. You know the first place where the game ask you to build a house? well there was like 20 to 30wolves waiting me to welcome me to the game. That was a hell to beat, then i went back to settings to change it a bit since i made 200 enemy dmg/hp etc. soooo yeah. xd
Hahaha, yeah how crazy is it?! That's what I did at the very end and why there were tonnes of boars, I don't think they had an effect on the Hollow Halls though which is probably for the best 😅 Also, putting enemy health maxed out in combination with the increased spawn rate? I don't even want to think what that was like
Btw, how did you get that elixir well or whatever it is all the way top left, in blackmire? cuz im missing 3 skill points and that might be what im missing
Hey! Yes you can, it's one of the options you can tweak, I haven't popped in for a while but I think you can choose to drop nothing, the standard drop from pre this update and a worse option if you're sadistic 😂
Yeah, I'm hoping a few little quality of life tweaks like that make it through, also the ability to quickly switch to "home" clothes and "adventure" clothes... these things aren't necessary but I still would like it 😂
Hey! It's a skill you can unlock called "Updraft" and once you have it, you can hit space (or whatever your jump key is bound to) to give yourself a little boost once per glide 😁
I Like watch videos from this game but play Is hard i play this game ONLY max 2 houres And in Boeing game Its hard, i Like COOP in this game style but sólo Its bad

If you want a better view of that floating island, pratfall got a good view from the blackmire on their channel.
Oh thank you for this, I'll go take a look! 😁
7:58 I have a unknown map-dot in that area too. Just a bit further south-west of your dot. I plan to have a go at visiting it today.
I'm still can't figure out what it is, if you have any luck please report back, it's driving me crazy😅
I haven't found temples, but I found some crypts that don't even have map markers. Cool ones, too.

Yeah, even outside of the difficulty sliders I definitely feel like they've tweaked enemy amount and behaviour on even just the "normal" difficulty

I've found all the Temples in Blackmire , still haven't found all in the Kindlewasts yet 😂 Good luck 🤞🏻 The fossils are on YT now 🎉 New Sub here !
Welcome to the channel! And damn, you are far better than me who hasn't found a single one, I get SO turned around in there 😅
I´ve found three of the new temples so far. Sometimes you gotta go very deep into the shroud.
Oh really?! Damn I'll need to look harder, and of course they're in the shroud 🙃
The floating castle is out of bounds ...
Yes it is, much to my frustration 😅
