I'm so so grateful to those who have said they enjoyed my poem ! I thought I would read it as I just felt it made sense in the moment and I'm just so glad you liked it :D
Fern, I would just like to say that you're the most honest and sweetest reactor that I've ever seen. This is gonna sound cheesy but it's not like I'm watching some random person online react to Aurora. You seem more like a friend to me. I'm glad that you're a part of the Warrior and Weirdo Community🌞
Aurora is a breath of fresh air, there’s no one like here. All our music today is all the same all the artists are stuck up and think of themselves. Aurora is so sweet and kind and her music is about things that matter.
In my imagination, while this concert is happening there is a little girl wandering alone through the forest a mile or two away. With just her own thoughts and the sounds of the birds singing and wind rustling through the trees, she feels isolated, lonely. Suddenly she hears beautiful music in the distance. Considering where she is, it feels somehow magical to her. It encourages her to write poetry/song lyrics, perhaps learn to play an instrument. One day in the future she performs in the same forest. At the same moment some distance away, a little girl is wandering through the forest feeling lonely. The cycle continues...
Thank you. Silja’s backing vocals are amazing at this concert. And I like how Aurora interacts with her audience in between the songs. Also loved the poem.
I ALWAYS CRY WATCHING THIS CONCERT omgg and seeing your reaction made me cry even more! The poetry... ok you killed me in this video im writing this in tears but is not sad tears... loved so much !!! Thank you for sharing with us all of this !
What a lovely reaction! I think you are definitely right, you were meant to find Aurora, that beautiful poem you wrote just confirms it. I believe the people that need her and her music somehow find their way to her music. And nice random harmonies as well lol, those were great. I know you said you would react to her covers, Believer and Teardrop I think are the best ones, but I think you should definitely consider reacting to possibly her best concert, the one at Nidarosdomen. It has nine original songs including two you haven’t heard (Under Stars, a single before her first EP and Little Boy in the Grass, from her first EP) and three covers. Even the songs you have heard, they are transformed here with the orchestra and choir.
Amazing reaction and commentary but your poem is beautiful and it made me feel like home. Like I'm on the road and looking for my home while sun is going down and painting the sky. I hear this poem behind my mind like a whisper but warm like hugs at starry nights and sunlight only feel and seen through the green and lovely trees... Thank you, Fern 💛🌅
Someone might have written it already, but since there are no subtitles and i feel the message is important. The last thing she says before the last song is "Don't forget to dream big. That's really important."
And there it was again, the beautiful feeling enjoying an awesome piece of emotional art together with likeable people (in this case you, Fern) who share the love for the artist and sing along together (I do it every time) and feel the vibes and moods together. It connects, even if it's only virtually and over a far distance, sometimes over half the world. This is more than a reaction, it's a pleasurable social event. Thanks a lot for this feeling. And what a really nice poem. I instantly had some other song lyrics rushing though my head while listening to it, although they were written in a totally different context. "Home is not a building, home is liberty, a place where memories live, in prosperity and peace" / Jinjer - Home Back Sometimes a mind makes weird connections ...
Ok, so, now onward towards the Exist for Love, her latest released song. Then you can go to her first ever song she performed on tv, Awakening, she was 18 at the time. After that there are covers, Believer, God is a Woman, Life on Mars, You're the Voice, Wrecking Ball, Famous Blue Raincoat, La La La, Teardrop, Across the Universe, Scarborough Fair. And then there are songs she did together with other bands like Helvegen (Wardruna) and To Be Loved (Askjell). And there is also exists a video/audio of her first ever public singing at a contest in school called "I had a dream". In any order you feel like doing them.
A great, honest emotional reaction Fern. This concert is one of the most magical events imaginable. How much charisma and energy can be squeezed into a petite package? In the case of Aurora, an endless amount.
She is absolutely an amazing human all around. Her music touches so many so deeply.I am so lucky to be seeing her in concert in November, I cannot wait!
It's such an amazing experience every time. Thank you for reacting (and the great editing)! Also you're poem was perfect in this, I really appreciate that you included it here! I always cry with this concert, it's what aurora really can do to me ❤️
A great reaction and really cool harmonies during the "Seed"! :D Also, appreciate the commentary and how you genuinely feel the emotions while listening to her. A lot of people just "go through the motions", but it's different with you. Loved it!
Thanks🙏❤️ love your heart felt reaction to Aurora. If you need a place to stay for a Aurora event in Bergen( her home town) , let me know. We have a spare little apartment in waking distance to the city senter. Stay safe and I look forward to the next Aurora reaction. 🙏🇳🇴
Thank you so much, I really enjoyed atching this together with you, it feels like I'm watching Aurora's concert in forest with a long lost friend. And what a lovely poem you write. Thank you so much for being so open about it and share it with us all. One of the best poem that hug you like a warm blanket. Hope all the bestest things for you.
I'm home alone, sick, at Norways National day. Had to cancel plans, oh well.... I got to sit here and watch a wonderful concert-reaction of one of my favorite artists..... and reactors, thnx Fern
You are amazing. I love listening to your reflections and your own experience with Aurora’s music. You seem like a wonderful sweet. person. You have a really nice voice too (both singing and talking voice). 😊 I dont know how many times I have watched this concert, and its a bonus with your added comments and emotions.
I liked to watch it with you. Also very good poem. If you will be doing covers I would vote as first Teardrop (like a version). After this would be nice Believer or God is a woman.
Thank you for doing this one. Sometimes I feel I need to get back to this concert in specific, it helps to remind me of how beautiful the world can be if we try hard enough. I enjoyed your reactions and beautiful poem. I hope you have a good day, and let Aurora bring a bit more happiness to your life. She is such a beautiful miracle to witness.
I perhaps could have clarified better last comment! But here's the full part where she talked about "It Happened Quiet" in an interview: What would you say is the main message beside step one of your album? Step one has quite a lot of personal stories and tragedies - like ‘It Happened Quiet’ and ‘Churchyard’ - which is about someone that is stronger… a grown up with a child, a teacher with a student - someone that takes advantage of their power and uses it in the wrong way. It’s inspired by domestic violence. ‘It Happened Quiet’ is actually connected to a song I’ve done before… I continue a story I started 2 years ago… So yes, I’ve had these personal stories, of what I see is going on in the world and find unfair, and I just kind of wanted to bring them into light. ‘Queendom’ is quite political such as ‘Soft Universe’ - the record is about beautiful things, but mostly about horrible things that are going on. You know, I take everything personal that happens to women, or animals and our planet. I would like that other people feel the same way, and become warriors for the people that can’t be a warrior for themselves. My debut album was about fixing your own demons and I feel like this album is the next step. indievidualist.de/aurora-2/
Thanks for another amazing reaction Fern. It makes me smile that you're singing along. I got to a point where I needed to know all the words. Thanks for sharing your poetry, your emotion's & your creativity with us!
Very nice reaction, and what a lovely poem! 😊👍By the way, right before the last song she says "dont forget to dream big, it is very important " (it was'nt subtiteled)
Me again, wow what a beautyfull poeme you red, written softly and also quite deep without being to dark, given the escence of the feeling. Bravo and thank you for sharing it.
There is another version of Runaway, the demo version. Aurora Aksnes has there a softer voice, and although the lyrics are the same, there is a bridge wich was not included in the album version. The song is great, anyway. The missing lyrics: "And I fell like rain is falling down I fell like a stone against the ground This emptiness inside my heart Has been there from the start I fell like rain is falling down And I fell like a stone against the ground This emptiness inside my soul Has been there all along."
Huhu, and here I am 😁. I hope you didn't cut. I'll see in a moment 😁 After a moment...ok looks good 👍🤘. Aurora's parents are also in the audience. The man who kisses his wife at the end of (I think) Daydreamer. And here 16:50. In her livestream, Aurora quickly rewritten this line just for fun. 10:39 "...the World is attacked by a Virus". Was very funny. 😁 13:30 the 2 girls from the docu 21:22 Fern's self-written, not so short, but beautiful Poem. 👍😁 Very nice reaction. ☺️
Not much to add here, thank you for your wonderful videos, and bringing us along on this journey. 😊 In addition to covers, Aurora also has _a lot_ of unreleased stuff, which is interesting to go through… if you want to. Cheers! @@FernStone I need to (finally) try out The Sims, no idea where Under the Water might have popped up in the fourth game. 😅 My pleasure, I already had this list on an old digital shelf, so why not dust it off and update it a bit. I forgot a few… Such as: Askjell - To Be Loved ft. AURORA, Into the Unknown, The Secret Garden, and Little Boy in the Grass. The latter you may have heard, “Little Boy in the Grass” is her Utøya, July 22nd influenced/themed song. Anyway, thanks again!
I just want ot say that your poem is beautiful, Goddess bless you! I resonates so much with every word, I mean, I'm tearing up just thinking of it again. Thank you so, so much for sharing such wonderfull and pure part of your soul with us; light, love and magic sparks from Argentina ❤️
When I was 15 I used to go walking in Stover woods every evening after school on my own (as I went to school at Stover) and just listen to music (I wish Aurora released music back then 😂) the woods are very similar looking to the one where she does her concert, so honestly if ever you get the chance, just go there one day on your own, listen to music and lose yourself in the woods, like time just doesn't exist out there! One of the best feelings ❤
God I love reading through your comments and seeing all these wonderful humans, being so kind..why couldnt be the world already be like auroras warriors and weirdos? But yeah...thats the mission of all of us. Spreading her ideals and make them real. I for myself stopped hatred, anger, resentment, jealousy and many other bad emotions at all. I believe that she is literaly the answer for how the world could be live in harmony and peace and justice. If just more people would REALLY listen to what she "prays"
Also if you need more concerts to check out, I can also recommend the one with classic orchestra in Bergen 2020. My favorite in there is soulless creatures, and I think it's the first time she sang that live.
Hey my lovely aurora reactor ❤ i love you more and more if thats possible! After all this great experiences i would say now it is time to get into the most beautiful concert ever delivered respecively recorded...aurora live at nidarosdomen. It is a once in a lifetime experience. That was the first time i listening to her and it literaly changed my life and made me a better person. P.s. and please if you react to it, please please dont cut it down for yt. It shouldnt be a problem when it comes to blocking etc. Please do not skip it, maybe just do two parts. Thank you so much to be such a humble and emotional person. Cant wait for your cover ❤
Her parents were there too. They’re the couple you see holding each h other. Her last song was dedicated to them. She’s in n the woods where she use to explore.
Really lovely. I enjoyed watching this with you. Thank you. When you go about her covers, I hope you will do the original first, so you can really feel and see the difference 😍. Enjoy.
Another great Aurora reaction🙂 As already said, her live performances are simply amazing. Looking forward to the cover reactions👍 I think the God Is a Woman cover was done as a challenge for Aurora, where she was told which song to cover and had only one hour to prepare..?
Ok! Late as always... someday i am going to make it right. ANyway. You are solid and marvellous as always Fern. Your Poem Heart, heart, heart.... Aurora Love, love, love.
Yes, please react to her covers. Her version of Life on Mars is amazing! And she also did The Beatles - Across the Universe and Massive Attack - Teardrop. I love them all

27:20 From the very first time that I heard the song I thought it was about that as well. But she performed this song in a radio once and said that it was valentine's day and that even though the song was quite sad it was still romantic in a certain way. So I don't believe she wrote it about that but still, I can't stop thinking of it when I hear it :(
It happened quiet … for me it’s about domestic violence that leads to death. I listen to it together with churchyard. It actually follows churchyard on the album and seems the natural conclusion of the domestic violence detailed in that song. Fortunately I believe these are imagined lives and not something Aurora has direct experience of ( at least that’s the hope I keep close to me ).
Your poem is fantastic. Not sure if it came through how matching it is with Runaway. "Home" is a metaphor for your inner balance and piece of mind, without it you would run off the world or break down the red van and still not be home. Also loved when you sang along, that is what music is all about and your voice is strong enough to be shared with us (on the contrary to mine which only is meant to be heard by me and I am ok with that 🤣)
If you are looking for an awesome live set, check out 2018 Lollapalooza in Brazil. Step 1 had just been released a few weeks before this concert, I believe.
I only discovered her on here yesterday and almost immediately got the vibe that she's an ASD Bard. This forest environment is perfect for her work. /l\ Be well.
Also pleeease listen to her cover of Across the Universe, that was the first time I heard Aurora and I never looked back after that performance, I actually prefer it way more to the original! 😍 and her Into the Unknown cover from Frozen 2 is magical, again much better than the original and its extra special as she is the siren voice in the movie! 😍
"It Happened Quiet" is in fact about r*pe, domestic violence/abuse, and/or a (sexual) relationship that goes so awry that it leads to one of the lovers taking their own life. When you have had your own experiences relating to this, the lyrics suddenly because infinitely more personal and impactful. I do believe, however, that whilst performing this song, Aurora is fortunately portraying a character rather than singing from her own personal experiences with such grim topics.
Don't know if you are aware but the 17th of may is actually the Norwegian National Day, and the fact that the video was uploaded the 17th of may and its about Aurora(who btw is Norwegian) is just wounderful! If you didn't know...... now you know ;) Love you're commentary and reaction btw
As to your enquiry at 28 minutes. The song could be very well be interpreted that way, but she has said that the only songs that are truly personal to her (of the released songs) are Runaway, Lucky and Exist for love. The rest are either from observation of people around her or putting her emotions of the world around her into words. Some are even 100% fictional. Songs like "little boy in the grass" and "why did you have to go" are personal, but technically not official songs. Though i guess we will never know 100% Even if she tends to be quite open. I have always felt though since watching this concert the first time, that it might be personal to Silja, since she asks her very clearly if she is OK before starting.
TW: rape. I think the idea that It Happened Quiet is about rape, must have started by somebody overthinking the "bleed in your bed" line. I dunno, it seems like a stretch to me. I heard Aurora mention it as "about one lover killing the other", so I think it i bit more literal. In fact, it reminds me mostly of Wuthering Height (The movie or the Kate Bush song, same same). It is a story about wild emotions. The one lover pushes the other out the window in anger (the falling is the quiet slow motion part) and then they fall apart themselves. And then the dead lover comes back to haunt them, gaining in voice until they can not be overheard. Both of them creatures acting on strong emotions, hence "Love is wild". Now, the death could be a metaphorical rape. Murder is certainly a violation also. And the ghost coming back is then a metaphor for the victim speaking up. I see the arguments there. But the ending: "Love is wild" indicates to me that Love is the motivator of the situation. The core instigator of what happens. And can Love really factor in a rape story? Certainly, if rape enters, Love has already left. The story can't be about Love anymore, can it? Because then the lyrics would boil down to "Someone got raped, then got even. Oh, but such is Love". And that really doesn't sounds right to me. Sorry for the long post. But then again, you made me listen to a 3 page poem :D (Which is fine, I liked it
I'm so so grateful to those who have said they enjoyed my poem ! I thought I would read it as I just felt it made sense in the moment and I'm just so glad you liked it :D

This is amazing !! Thanks so much .. really helpful :D
Also I play sims !! so I must of heard under the water before , that's crazy !!!!
@@FernStone I need to (finally) try out The Sims, no idea where Under the Water might have popped up in the fourth game. 😅
My pleasure, I already had this list on an old digital shelf, so why not dust it off and update it a bit. I forgot a few…
Such as: Askjell - To Be Loved ft. AURORA, Into the Unknown, The Secret Garden, and Little Boy in the Grass. The latter you may have heard, “Little Boy in the Grass” is her Utøya, July 22nd influenced/themed song. Anyway, thanks again!
yesssss queen thank you for making our day
I just want ot say that your poem is beautiful, Goddess bless you!
And you have just added to the wonderful comment section ! I’m blown away by the warriors and weirdos . I agree so much with what you say !
😂 So wonderful enjoying this alongside someone else who appreciates it as much as us.
🤷♂️😁😊👍
Also if you need more concerts to check out, I can also recommend the one with classic orchestra in Bergen 2020. My favorite in there is soulless creatures, and I think it's the first time she sang that live.
Loved to watch it with you. Thank you.
Beautiful poem and very fitting :)
This is a wholesome thing that I'm watching.. the concert, your reaction, poem, and the comment section... human is not always bad and hateful... 🙏❤️👍
Also, she did cover believer too by imagine dragons and somehow i kinda like it more on her version lol
I agree , this comment section is so so lovely ! Also thank you so much ! I can’t wait to see the believer cover 😊
@@FernStone 🙏🙏🙏
Her parents were there too. They’re the couple you see holding each h other. Her last song was dedicated to them. She’s in n the woods where she use to explore.
Really lovely. I enjoyed watching this with you. Thank you. When you go about her covers, I hope you will do the original first, so you can really feel and see the difference 😍. Enjoy.
Road to 1k🤗🎉
I'm always happy to watch your videos especially when reacting to Aurora ❤️
Omg I know ! So close now 😊 thank you 🙏
Another great Aurora reaction🙂
As already said, her live performances are simply amazing.
Looking forward to the cover reactions👍
I think the God Is a Woman cover was done as a challenge for Aurora, where she was told which song to cover and had only one hour to prepare..?
Ok! Late as always... someday i am going to make it right. ANyway. You are solid and marvellous as always Fern. Your Poem Heart, heart, heart.... Aurora Love, love, love.
And i am so glad that you Love the infections....... This is my favourite "concert" by her.
plz do exist for love next!
We all sing along to AURORA.
Yes, please react to her covers. Her version of Life on Mars is amazing! And she also did The Beatles - Across the Universe and Massive Attack - Teardrop. I love them all
ABSOLUTELY :D Can't wait !!
@@FernStone I would add Bob Dylan's "make you feel my love". She covered it in the SOS Ole Bull 2020 concert. Probably my favourite cover from her.

@@FernStone Fern, when it comes to Life on Mars, imho the one Aurora does in Nidarosdomen is one, if not he best one.
27:20 From the very first time that I heard the song I thought it was about that as well. But she performed this song in a radio once and said that it was valentine's day and that even though the song was quite sad it was still romantic in a certain way. So I don't believe she wrote it about that but still, I can't stop thinking of it when I hear it :(
Yes !! The lyrics just some how align with that in many ways 😕 ! I’m glad it’s not about that though , truly ! It is a great song 🎵
This felt like a happy family movie night...:)
Thank you ! Yeah makes a lot of sense
The make up though, wow just wow.
Pd. Loved the new lighting style.
Your poem is fantastic. Not sure if it came through how matching it is with Runaway. "Home" is a metaphor for your inner balance and piece of mind, without it you would run off the world or break down the red van and still not be home. Also loved when you sang along, that is what music is all about and your voice is strong enough to be shared with us (on the contrary to mine which only is meant to be heard by me and I am ok with that 🤣)
Yes ! So very true . Hahahah , singing is good for the soul no matter how good you are ! Thank you 🙏
If you are looking for an awesome live set, check out 2018 Lollapalooza in Brazil. Step 1 had just been released a few weeks before this concert, I believe.
I love your poem...you have talent for prose.
I'm so pleased , thank you so much !
Your poem was beautiful.
You are a beatiful soul, fantastic and emotional lovley reaction
Thank you. A spirituel moment.
Have you watched her concert at Nidarosdomen already? That was PURE magic
Not the full concert just one song , Lucky ! But I will soon 💕
u can react to Aurora's version of into the unknown, and the secret garden single.🤍
Oooh about the covers react to Teardrop !! Omg is one of the most perfect covers she has ever done in my opinion!
I only discovered her on here yesterday and almost immediately got the vibe that she's an ASD Bard. This forest environment is perfect for her work. /l\ Be well.
shes so fun! thx again Fern!
Lovely poem........
Realy cool reaction vid again. And funny how you just pause on her parents at 17,00 .
Great Reaction!! ❤️
Love your makeup!
That was a nice poem 😊
Don't know if you are aware but the 17th of may is actually the Norwegian National Day, and the fact that the video was uploaded the 17th of may and its about Aurora(who btw is Norwegian) is just wounderful! If you didn't know...... now you know ;) Love you're commentary and reaction btw
Beautiful makeup :))
AURORA's cover of beliver by imagine dragons is amazing, you should check that out 😊
Now you can do Auroras friend Sigrid. Her concert, Jugendfest 2020 is so good. More poppy but I think you will like it...
Hey Fern. Have you got your ticket for Aurora Live yet? Brixton Academy in April 2022. I believe a few other YT reactors will be there too.
Please do react to TEARDROP cover of AURORA by Massive Attack
You are the best girl
I love this
thanksssss
Aaaah very interesting! It’s a sad song none the less ! But I love it so much .
Im confused. Isn't "little boy in the grass" a released song?
@@nuts6741 I cant find it on Spotify. Only on UA-cam, so assumed it was technically unreleased. I could very well be wrong :)
love the nails 💙
shut up you singing at the seed just wooooww beautiful voice you have!!!!!!!
That proud moment were her parents .
Love love love love
