The Bridgestone X31 is the best front tire I've found that works in the desert!!! Nice to see it saved you too. Also, the razors are a real threat to our entire trail system. They are just blowing out everything. Guys that own them could care less about the damage they are doing to the trail system and it's getting really bad. When you go to the offload store now that's about all they sell is those big ass razors. Sad for sure.
I haven't tried the 31 yet but the 30 works well. The Artrax fatty works surprisingly well for a cheap tire but seems to have a thin carcass so it's best with bibs. It's a shame how many trails the side by sides are blowing out. They leave a ton of trash too, I'm seeing more and more beer cans along the transfer sections of jeep road.
My buddy Al just got a GPS but we usually just wing it and use the area landmarks to figure out where we are. Now that he has a GPS, we're starting to flag trails we are unfamiliar with.
@ gotcha. My buddy and I also live in PHX and are planning on checking this OHV stuff out. Pretty frustrating to see the SxS we witness ourselves be confirmed with others in the area.
@@Slov_ Some people aren't club people but if you want a great resource for riding, check out Arizona Trail Riders, lots of people to ride with and lots of trail knowledge. We do group rides all the time so you could always join us sometime. The UTV thing is frustrating, a few of them camping at one of our parking spots just left beer cans all around the perimeter of their camp and a burn pile of glass bottles, cans and it looks like they burned tires since there's a bunch of round steel belts in the burn pile. It's the kind of activity that will get the places shut down and motorcycles somehow get lumped in with them from the public's view.

You have a GPX route configured or did you guys just wing it with OnX or Gaia GPS listed single track routes?
