Great Trail love seeing it. I’m in SoCal desert, but we don’t have really any Choya cactus to speak of. I have ridden Arizona and met those damn things firsthand and I do not like them! Lol!
I'm from Arizona, third generation Arizonan. Those "Cholla cacti" are better known by natives as "jumping cactus" and they got their name by the fact that when you brush by them they "jump onto you!!!' When you try to pull them out they can hook into your skin...and you can get an infection if you don't keep the wound clean. Great ride, what year is that 250X? I watch your vids, you're with a much slower pack this ride😏

They are quite sticky. Some areas are covered with so many of them.
