► Genshin's new permanent end game mode, Imaginarium theater is here! and in typical Eakes fashion, I'm going to try and beat it without using any 5 star characters or weapon. Which is especially hard in this mode because you have to choose 16 different characters, all individually built with artifacts and weapons of their own.. Some have even been saying it's impossible.. let's test that theory.

The hardest part for me is getting the damn characters
truly, i didn't realize you had to choose cards to get characters the first time, so i was so frustrated reaching act 6 with like 6 characters it was so bad lol, but it was fun after realizing the cards are important lol
And level up them then artifacts
You can just use them as place holder in the early stage and save the trial characters @@Prince_9971

Even the combat is becoming Gacha
You won't know about combat being gacha until you play a game that has damage fluctuations that actually make or break perfect runs.

this is abyss floor 10 but you're forced to use awful teams
I’ve learned much more from this than I have from watching fully built accounts stomping everything.

Most of us don't have to make these challenges. It's enough of a challenge to get enough character to level 70 and have enough artifacts.
But that's what makes it different and fun.
you can set this kind of challenge for the abyss as well though? for theater the whole challenge is just getting lucky to get the right characters at the right time and if you dont pull the cards to restore vigor your run is just not possible at all. thats actually not very fun lmao
@@Maloooondepends. As an older player I literally don't have anyone below lvl 70 on my main and so tried imaginarium with a challenge of using as many of the non-meta units as possible. Still, can't beat Coppelius now, Cyno having the best results but no off-field pyro, and Yanfei and Gaming not having enough damage without melts 😢. And also, no healers in the final chamber are available, and no shielders, except Beidou and Yanfei 😅
I about had a stroke just trying to beat the normal difficulty with the provided characters and 5 stars, kudos to you sir.
What saved you was returning characters to the pool. Without it, you'd not have enough vigor to finish. Zederyx did a 4-star run with no boons and he had to "burn" 5-star characters in the first two rounds, otherwise it would've been impossible.

@@hungryhikaru If you have zero restrictions, then barring vigor shenanigans you MUST pick draft card minimum 4 times to finish, end of which you will see 15/16 units.
Since 3 out of 16 units are unusable 5-stars here, that means even if you pick more draft cards to compensate, you'll still not have enough total units to actually fulfill.
So you will alternatively need to pick restore vigor, return depleted units back to draft pool, etc.
Heizou is the GOAT... he definitely carried

I know that technically battle pass weapons are 4 stars, but using r5's battle pass shouldn't be considered 4 stars only

Cool challenge, Zederyx did same only without any using any boons/caches so he had to use one of the trial 5 stars in the first two chambers, just never switching to them… ofc he’s also a mega whale so he has every 4 star at c6 which makes a diff for Chevy/Gaming etc that most players don’t have at the moment
Zed doesn't even need to look at the screen with his whaling, he can just smash buttons and everything will complete itself 😂
Yeah but he actually struggled in this run which was fun to see … he couldn’t just 1 or 2 tap everything with his c6 5 stars and r5 5 star weapons
I somehow have Gaming c6, meanwhile early characters like Barbara or Rosaria still on c2, Yanfei and Beidou on c4, Mika nowhere to be seen….

This made me look at my half built characters and actually farm them, level, talent, artifact, weapon, and the first time i saw 0 mora. I'm back at a couple million now but, wow, for people who recently started playing, this is not meant for them
Nope, nor is it meant for vets who breeze through it… seems to be only designed for AR 55ish players with just enough units but whose units aren’t that strong yet

Lisa is quite good when fully build, but you need to use her hold skill for energy and not loose too many stats for ER.

Even with some 5 stars with average weapons and artifacts, I'm still struggling to do normal mode. Only just got enough characters built for it. Had to go off and build more so will have to have another go... haven't even thought about hard mode yet....I must be shit 😅🤦🏻♂️

I'd say this gamemode is A LOTT easier to clear with 4 stars since it encourages horizontal investment.
In the Spiral Abyss, you almost need 5*'s on Floor 12 if you dont want to go insane. (But i know you've already cleared that challenge 😏)

Tbh it was much easier than abyss and for me what gave me the most issues was just the monolith

This gamemode is just a character check and if you don't have them you can't even play the hard difficulty

Its possible if you have a lot of high constellation 4 stars and good artifacts and weapons.
Doubt you can do it on C0-C2 max

The problem is not to beat the problem is to enter when you dont have 16 characters...
Hard to build 4 star characters, not enough 4 star weapons, and not enough accessories to equip each one, how do we even get past act 5 and clear act 6? It looks impossible to clear unless you buy primos for the resin to build characters you don't even use normally.

i just started genshin recently
i saw a page called training guide and since that time im building my characters based on guide of the game itself
is it good to build them from that guide or i should find some better resources?
The guide gives you the most popular builds so it's a good way to learn how to build people 😎👍
the guide will ALSO usually recommend five star weapons over everything else, so be warned of that! i highly recommend the keqingmains site or asking someone on dc if you have weapon questions
If you want play style guides though, some UA-cam videos to get an idea of how to use the characters can help too
Unless you have the patience to read through the ability and/or constellation descriptions and keep it in mind while testing the character out
It's decent enough if you intend to just rawdog it and not waste any time into additional research, but good video guides will probably get you more accurate information.
Most of the advice in-game is common sense (level your stuff), but there are a lot of advanced concepts that don't always translate, e.g. some support characters don't need as high levels to be effective for the team, don't need their normal attacks, can use 4-star artifacts like Instructor/Exile, prioritize ER above all else for smooth rotations, etc.

Only 14 in 2 years? Yeah that's terrible. I have every single 4* built (except Kaveh and Sethos) and also 5* ofc. And i play less than you.
@@ayatoo967 Eh, it's fine. Depends on what they consider to be 'built' really and how much they care. People can play for years just for story, exploration, and events, and not care about abyss (which was the only thing worth building characters properly for, and even then you only needed 8 characters.). People can also just be satisfied with their team and not have any need to pull new characters every single patch and build them.
This all goes to say, some people dont view genshin accounts like something they need to invest into.

That was not Visionary mode, Just hard mode. tbf Im not sure off -hand if there are enough 4 stars to fill out the roster Reqs.. edit to add still really good. I just do not think Visionary mode is possible even if you can meet the requirements
This was before visionary mode existed, but yes all 4 stars for visionary mode solely depends on if there’s enough characters of that element. which is kinda why Imaginarium theater is a little lame 😅 it’s just a character check

Cleared day 1 first try . It’s easy clap for players who are 3-4 years into this game . But for new players well they can’t even try because most of them don’t have their characters build . Absolute dogshite development by hoyo .

Yeah future is so bright for genshin that even the Natlan's characters are missing some melanin, while npc's Natlan got them all... Something not smell good imo
