  • I've put together a step-by-step guide for how players are aiming in Metal Gear Online. I'd recommend taking each step in turn and practicing along the way in your own time. If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to let me know!

    Step 2: Tap Firing: 07:18
    Step 3: Pre-Aiming: 11:55
    Step 4: Crouching: 17:18

Back when mgo was online I discovered this stuff but it was hard to pull off because I found it hard to control my shots

Very good explanation, one question: how do you place that central green line on your screen? Does it come by default? Is there a method to be able to use it or activate it? minute 0:47

That's an overlay in the recording I added via OBS for a visual explanation. I don't use it in-game since I don't need a crosshair at all.

There are actually a bunch of them, one of our community members has a fantastic breakdown on why they're so cool: ua-cam.com/video/D-DaTqkMr9Q/v-deo.html
And they're still being played to this day as you can see from the footage.

Hi there- is there way for me to practice with that green line like how you’re doing?

I had overlaid that as an example of where I have my camera for the video in editting. It won't always line up if you're not keeping your camera at the right height.
But here is the file for the crosshair I used in the video: ibb.co/7tSHkpc

@@EagleEye5599 do you or others put any overlays on the screen while playing to help with these strategies? Like to get a more exact reference of the cntr of the screen? Also what camera speed do you suggest to use? Do you have a video on better breakdown on different skills and what are suggested? Thanks! Been playing again for the first time since the game released after downloading on my PC this week haha

@@martialman12 Hey there, I personally don't use any overlays when I'm playing; however, I've seen some people using crosshairs before to help find the center of the screen for them.
As for skills, it can really depend on the game mode, but you can't go wrong with mix and matching Runner 1/2, Assault Rifle 1/2, Monomania 3, Quarterback 3 in any combination. Since those skills work for most of the game modes if you're not looking to specialize in anything.
If you're playing Team Sneaking, I'd say that skills choices like Knife 1, Handgun 2, CQC & Scanner are worth considering as well.
