thanks andy, my dad was lead navigator on the b-17 qualified quail,,,in dec 1944 on their 33 mission the plane got hit in the # 4 engine but they successfully landed in the snow in belgium with no injuries. i plan to visit my next time in savanah

@@AndysJourneys they are working on the cockpit of the Fighting Sam B-24 and eventually they will get a B-24 just like they did the 17. Plus saw a YT video talking about a expansion of the museum. I would love to volunteer there I know a lot about 8th AF.
recently drove pass this on the highway and bummed i ddint have enough time to swing in a look. was on work trip and racing toward south carolina. this would have been a nice stop for me as the base i was stationed at during my 4 years was part of the 8th air force.

If it did I didn't see it I don't think the stained glass is that old but it is well made
