As a honda city owner, after sales service is way better than Tata's and no mechanical or electrical glitches in Honda cars, whereas Tata cars are full of glitches.
Though we have a 2022 Safari and absolutely love it. But, Honda's are no bs car. They just work and keep working. Like Toyota, Maruti and even Maruti. Respect for this satisfaction!
I have nexon and prior to 3rd service its average in city was 9-10 but after the 3rd service its giving 14-15 in city. So u r right after 3rd service average has improved

As a Nexon facelift owner for last two months, here's my take. You are not a customer, you are a beta tester, a part of their manufacturing process. Whether it's buggy infotainment system, fit and finish issues or other things like misaligned parts. The instrument cluster and infotainment system have frozen on me TWICE during this short period of time, one of my DRLs have stopped working. I went for first service the other day and they told me there's no software update for my car which means it can fail on me anytime it wants to. The bonet was is misaligned as if someone was sitting on it on one side which the service center refuses to rectify further, the DRL part isn't available so I would have to revisit. On top of that I'm constatnly getting calls from them for feedback which I don't even want to attend. For someone remotely thinking of buying a TATA car don't spend more than 10-11 lakhs as the quality simply isn't upto the mark. These desi companies only sell desh bhakti, the quality isn't their priority.

My Fearless plus s dca has similar issue. Just 2 kms after delivery the instrument cluster was stuck, luckily i saw the youtube video how to reboot the system. Use mute button for 10 seconds , bluetooth button for 10 seconds power down the car and then open the door for 10 seconds. It will reboot and refresh the system and will work fine. Seevice center guy told me there is a software update after that it will be solved in first service.
@ashishvaish2712 Till now, the only issue is with the infotainment system( It got stuck 3 times in 1.5 months). My variant is the DCA variant. The ride is very good and helps a lot with Bangalore traffic. Hill hold is also working fine. Waiting until first service to get the software updated for infotainment.
Any issue in DCA gear shifting? Some you tube guys saying it is directly go to D2 bypass D1? Or how is DCA transmission. I just waiting my Creative plus DCA vechicle since sep end , tension mai hai
@maheshmms20 City mode it strats from d2 by design no need to worry. Sports mode it starts from d1. The only problem with dca is some transmission fault errors it shows sometimes, but gear works fine. I have given for checking my car today and they will do service and update the software.
I own Honda for last 11 year and has never faced any issue with their service either in Bangalore or Noida. and recently went to test drive Elevate and the experience at dealer in Noida is also good, but recently saw many reviews where people are cursing their dealer behavior and 'm really shocked.
I took elevate for test drive. There was no such issue. Infact when I was just about to turn car back to their shop, he told me that I can go even more if I wanted.

Actually, every other person on the Indian roads needs to protect themselves from rookie Tata drivers. Of course, they'll survive as they are driving a F-ing bulldozer but they'll hit and crush any random soul or object in sight with absolutely NO regrets while still praising and being proud of their car's build quality.👏 Just let the Tata driver pass and maintain safe distance.🙏 They're really unpredictable on roads with absolutely no road ethics. They may turn or switch lanes without indicator, overtake from left side, drive their white headlights on High beam and the list goes on. Just maintain safe distance from Tata drivers.🙏 If they assert that they are King of roads, just silently agree and let them pass.✌️ Also, everyone should get a Dashcam (Front and Rear) to have some valid proof in case of any mishap.💯💯💯
Being a Tiago owner and a tata fan in general I have to say this, Tata is the one car maker in the current market who are doing more damage to their own brand value by themseleves instead of competition does to them ! Their products are still decent but these issues recurringly coming up on social media about bad dealership and after-sales services should be considered alarming and rectified if they wanna be a big-name brand in the upcoming decade. Alongside refining their engines obviously.

But afterwards the same can't be said for the exact dealerships when my friends have went in recent times, everyone is so full of attitude there like "leni hai to lo, else fuck off" kind of attitude. I brought my second Nexon diesel in AMT recently. I never faced any software or electronic glitch. Talking about Honda elevate, it has the most underpowered engine
Already Completed 2600km and first service. #1 DCA Gear box is better than AMT but jerk slow speed jerk hai special jab traffic me thoda gap milta fir break lagana padta. #2 Wireless AppleCa Play connection ka issue ata hai but Wo software reset krwane k baad chala gaya ab kabhi kabhi disconnect hi nahi karta 😂. Car band krne k baad kabhi kabhi touch screen on hi rehti fir Usko 2-3 baar push button on/off krke band krna pdta. Ye naya issue aya after service. #3 kabhi kabhi software hang ho jata hai apple car play ka but baaki sab chalta rehta like blind spot monitor / 360 degree camera. #4 Mileage city me sirf 10-12km hi hai ek baar 19kmpl Diya Wo bhi jab me light chala rha tha #5 Ek baar chalte car me Drive Mode se N mode par gayi car and mode change hi nahi hi rha tha

I have Nexon where the complete features full variant was xz+ 11 lakhs on road. No compromise. 2022 model. Now complete features no compromise model is fearless+ on road price is 15.5 lakhs. Way to expensive For Manual transmission. Better buy seltos htk+ with all the needed features 15.5 lakhs. Or if one can stretch and htx varient with all the top model feel and features at 17.5 lakhs on road.
I had also purchased Nexon fearless top variant and faced similar issues in infotainment and digital cluster....and also in Sequencing DRLs..... except this it's working perfectly
@tanmaysingh1370 I too faced an issue with the Infotainment and Instrument Cluster. Went to the service centre with a 5-day-old car. They connected it with a Laptop and updated the software. Regarding DRL, was it an issue with one DRL or both one?
My infotainment was also froze twice and after software update - it’s working fine.. With Device connect they found issue with DRL light , told me that it’s low.. Root Cause they gave me is , I was using Dashcam so short circuit happened. In warranty, they replaced 28k worth DRL light but asked not to use Dashcam.. Now I have 15k Dashcam in my car trunk 😒😒

Then it happened again while I was cruising on highway at 80KMPH after a call came on my phone. It seems their Android auto/Apple Car play is buggy and causes issues. One of my DRLs have also failed and I haven't installed any aftermarket stuff. It's simply the lack of quality on their parts. Yo
Basically the owner is totally inclined towards Tata that's why he is praising the Nexon but in reality Tata is the only company in whose products there is a lot of technical glitches, there is no quality control while manufacturing, pathetic engine and gear box in the whole segment and also worst glass area in every model including Harrier. Rear windshield is worst in whole lineup as the tilt angle of the glass is way too much due to which you have to rely on rear camera alot.

Bhai I own a Skoda Kushaq (1.5 DSG, same engine as Taigun) and VW and Skoda are class apart. TATA waale customers shayad kabhi iss taraf divert nai honge.
bruh dsg starts from 16 lakhs ex showroom and on road it's 19 plus in the region he's from. 4 lakhs is huge price for only a slight better experience of DCT module. Both cars are turbocharged yes nut ofc you get 300cc more, but the compromise is you don't even get keyless entry let alone start stop. For a 19 lakhs car that matters a lot, could've easily given steel wheels instead of alloys but keyless would've been great, particular reason why Scorpio N and Seltos too get criticised.
How about Elevate - that is bigger and cost difference minimal. AFTER SALE SERVICE compare to Tata ??? and Mahindra, Skoda.. all are worse compared to Maruti.

Bhai g tata ke gear lock base lagte jab gear lagate hai toh aise lagta jaise individually ek ek gear laga re pata chalta hai jaise atak ke lag re par aise he lagte isme.. Hyundai ya suzuki ke smooth hai... Don't worry sab normal hai
I have been owner of tata tigor and nexon both and never encountered any issue with service centre (mumbai). They call you for servicing with pickup and drop facility.
Thats a very big problem, report it to TATA immediately. Its not a joke, we are paying huge amount for the car and this has to be resolved. we cant keep quite.

Yes in City it’s 8km only - traveling 20km daily in Mumbai. When I went to bandstand on Diwali - there was no traffic so got avg of 13 - best till now 😅 First service yet to be done.
In my Nexon DCA purchased in Jan 24 repeat issue of software hangs after 640km runing is really very disturbing, vehicle does not start , lock / unlock, etc does not work if Vehicle parked for 6-7 days or more

Gear shift me bahot jabarjast lag hai. Accelerator agar dabaoge to bhi 5 second kuch nahi hoga, baar baar pair hatake phir se accelerator dabana padta hai other 5 second me speed to badh jayegi lekin gear change nahi hoga 3. Software to mashallah apni marji ka malik hai. 1 km me 5 baar android auto disconnect ho jata hai. 4. Service center kisi ek problem ko lekar jaoge to problem to solve hogi nahi ulta 10 nayi problem aa jayegi. Agar service center ke upar ya pados me rehte ho tab to thik hai lekin roz 9 to 5 office jane walo ke bas ki baat nahi hai har dusre din service center ke chakkar lagana 5. Fit & finish to sabko pata hi hai Ab koi TATA ka fan defend karne ke liye ayega to bhai meri Nexon kharid lo itna hi hai to 🔥

Really, So i am not the only one who wasn't treated well at honda showroom. honda is behaving like new mahindra. Years later their cars are getting booking and they now treating customer as nothing. neither giving test drive nor behaving nicely
There is an issue in the highways for pickup, I have driven the fearless dca for 3,000km till now. And driving on highways we need to use the paddle shifters for smooth overtaking, in automatic it’s a hassle to overtake because of pickup issues other than that everything else is very good in the car.

Both are Approx Same milage, same size 4-5 person, price bhi almost same 12-13lakh, I think Resale value bhi mil jaye dono me After 5yr.. #1 DCA Gear box is better than AMT but jerk slow speed jerk hai special jab traffic me thoda gap milta fir break lagana padta.
#2 Wireless AppleCa Play connection ka issue ata hai but Wo software reset krwane k baad chala gaya ab kabhi kabhi disconnect hi nahi karta 😂.
Car band krne k baad kabhi kabhi touch screen on hi rehti fir Usko 2-3 baar push button on/off krke band krna pdta. Ye naya issue aya after service.
#3 kabhi kabhi software hang ho jata hai apple car play ka but baaki sab chalta rehta like blind spot monitor / 360 degree camera.
#4 Mileage city me sirf 10-12km hi hai ek baar 19kmpl Diya Wo bhi jab me light chala rha tha
#5 Ek baar chalte car me Drive Mode se N mode par gayi car and mode change hi nahi hi rha tha
very simple sollution to solve all this issues, go to car, press on button drive to nearest cardekho and sell it off

Software issues coming some time but that is not major concern when you decided to buy Indian Brand.

I have Nexon where the complete features full variant was xz+ 11 lakhs on road. No compromise. 2022 model.
Now complete features no compromise model is fearless+ on road price is 15.5 lakhs. Way to expensive For Manual transmission.
Better buy seltos htk+ with all the needed features 15.5 lakhs. Or if one can stretch and htx varient with all the top model feel and features at 17.5 lakhs on road.
I had also purchased Nexon fearless top variant and faced similar issues in infotainment and digital cluster....and also in Sequencing DRLs..... except this it's working perfectly

@tanmaysingh1370 I too faced an issue with the Infotainment and Instrument Cluster. Went to the service centre with a 5-day-old car. They connected it with a Laptop and updated the software. Regarding DRL, was it an issue with one DRL or both one?
My infotainment was also froze twice and after software update - it’s working fine.. With Device connect they found issue with DRL light , told me that it’s low.. Root Cause they gave me is , I was using Dashcam so short circuit happened. In warranty, they replaced 28k worth DRL light but asked not to use Dashcam.. Now I have 15k Dashcam in my car trunk 😒😒

Then it happened again while I was cruising on highway at 80KMPH after a call came on my phone. It seems their Android auto/Apple Car play is buggy and causes issues. One of my DRLs have also failed and I haven't installed any aftermarket stuff. It's simply the lack of quality on their parts. Yo

I have driven Nexon DCT 30k km, Love it,, Great milage, great performance.. Enjoy the ride... Easy to drive for common man.
Basically the owner is totally inclined towards Tata that's why he is praising the Nexon but in reality Tata is the only company in whose products there is a lot of technical glitches, there is no quality control while manufacturing, pathetic engine and gear box in the whole segment and also worst glass area in every model including Harrier. Rear windshield is worst in whole lineup as the tilt angle of the glass is way too much due to which you have to rely on rear camera alot.

Bhai I own a Skoda Kushaq (1.5 DSG, same engine as Taigun) and VW and Skoda are class apart. TATA waale customers shayad kabhi iss taraf divert nai honge.
bruh dsg starts from 16 lakhs ex showroom and on road it's 19 plus in the region he's from. 4 lakhs is huge price for only a slight better experience of DCT module. Both cars are turbocharged yes nut ofc you get 300cc more, but the compromise is you don't even get keyless entry let alone start stop. For a 19 lakhs car that matters a lot, could've easily given steel wheels instead of alloys but keyless would've been great, particular reason why Scorpio N and Seltos too get criticised.
How about Elevate - that is bigger and cost difference minimal. AFTER SALE SERVICE compare to Tata ??? and Mahindra, Skoda.. all are worse compared to Maruti.

I have been owner of tata tigor and nexon both and never encountered any issue with service centre (mumbai).
They call you for servicing with pickup and drop facility.
Features can be added after market..but engine and gear box can not be added..so i will choose honda any day

Yes in City it’s 8km only - traveling 20km daily in Mumbai. When I went to bandstand on Diwali - there was no traffic so got avg of 13 - best till now 😅

1. City me mileage 8 kmpl hai wo bhi isliye kyunki MID 8 kmpl se kam jata hi nahi hai aisi setting ki hui hai TATA ne
2. Gear shift me bahot jabarjast lag hai. Accelerator agar dabaoge to bhi 5 second kuch nahi hoga, baar baar pair hatake phir se accelerator dabana padta hai other 5 second me speed to badh jayegi lekin gear change nahi hoga
3. Software to mashallah apni marji ka malik hai. 1 km me 5 baar android auto disconnect ho jata hai.
4. Service center kisi ek problem ko lekar jaoge to problem to solve hogi nahi ulta 10 nayi problem aa jayegi. Agar service center ke upar ya pados me rehte ho tab to thik hai lekin roz 9 to 5 office jane walo ke bas ki baat nahi hai har dusre din service center ke chakkar lagana

There is an issue in the highways for pickup, I have driven the fearless dca for 3,000km till now. And driving on highways we need to use the paddle shifters for smooth overtaking, in automatic it’s a hassle to overtake because of pickup issues other than that everything else is very good in the car.
this will happen with most cars for instant pickup. that is why they are giving paddle shifters.
