XUV 300 has best engine and handling than and better space than Nexon but mahindra has killed it by cost cutting and increasing price. Rest in all aspects Nexon is much ahead than xuv
Have you lost it Nexon has better Ground clearance, Steering feedback is very precise mahindra xuv doesn't stand a chance in handeling, Boot space is more. Also it's cheaper. Nexon is also much more comfortable
Nexon Petrol is a magical car in terms of mileage --- You can get mileage of 10 kmpl (City traffic) to 22 kmpl (highway with cruise @70-80 kmph ECO mode)
I bought Tata Nexon, Bs6 2020, it has been 2.5 years, I have driven 72000 kms so far, done 5 trips from Tamilnadu to Gujarat almost 2000 kms just one side, up and down round trip approx 5000 kms, every time. Just takes 2 days to reach Ahmedabad. Very comfortable to drive, even after 12 hours of straight driving you feel relaxed. Easy cruising in 90kms to 120 kms speed, just makes driving experience so good. Nexon is very stable at high speed and in corners as well, You feel safe inside the car. The center of gravity is key for this car. It is very light on tyres, which results in less graining of rubber. Am aiming to run this tyre till 1,00,000 Kms, another 27000 km is still there to achieve this milestone. This car has never disappointed me, smooth,There is no rattling noise, sturdy suspension. Overall a good package. About the maintenance, i have done, on time services as Tata Mechanic's advise. Every service is done show room. Change the plugs every 30000 kms. Engine oil change 15000 kms, Wheel alignment and balancing is done every 15000kms, Air filter was replaced after 50000 kms. I would recommend spark change every 30000 kms. This brings good performance in your car. I would say Nexon is worth every penny.
I own Nexon petrol, The engine of Nexon is good and reliable, 96000 KMS done till now, Not even one single issue i have faced till now, cluch is super soft no issues driving in city conditions. My car has reached 100000 km in just 2.5 years, suspensions are good, tires can still do another 15000 kms more. Surprisingly there is no rattling noise of plastics in the car. I have upgraded from Ford Figo TDCi, so I zerod down on XUV 300 Diesel W6 model. 2nd Option was Breeza if at all I change to petrol and Nexon... Hyundai and Kia was ruled out while in the discussion itself. My son liked Nexon, Wife' s fav was xuv300 but once she checked the Nexon interior... It is 👍. Breeza's cabin quality I didn't like, XUV almost zero features with outdated interiors so we have Nexon XMS petrol Foliage green, Drove 700km till date , got delivered on 17th August. 👍👍

Cons are- Rattling noise, breaking on bad roads, thick pillar is the worst specially on sharp turns saved from accident 2-3 times due to it, low beam light is of no use. Rest everything is best sound quality is exceptional driving is smooth punch in acceleration can be felt very nicely with sports mode
I have Tata Nexon xms 2020 petrol. Recently I have got 20 km/l tank to tank on highway in city mode with AC on. In mid it was showing 21.4. And in city i get 11 to 14 km/l in city mode. Fully satisfied with the car and after sale service in my city😊

I have Nexon xz + hs, royal blue. Upgraded from Baleno 😛. Considered Brezza, Xuv 300, trust me, Nexon is best in segment. Brezza is very under powered. And now for more money too. the build quality, ride quality, steering feedback and what not. This car is awesome. Shifting from Maruti, I feel huge difference. Nexon is very advanced!!!

@Amit Kumar except for refined petrol engine. I own venue, and I regret not considering Nexon. In terms of cabin roominess and comfort/suspension, there is a day and night difference.
For petrol It's better to go for Brezza or any naturally aspirated engine as turbo will cost a bomb on fuel especially in city. Else Nexon diesel is a fantastic buy i feel
Rear seat passengers should also wear seat belts. People should follow some basic rules for better safety. 5 star crash test rating is not going to save you in an unfortunate incident if you don't use your seat belts.
Former Chairman of Tata Sons Cyrus Mistry died in an accident last Sunday. He was travelling in a Mercedes GLC with 7 Airbags. Not wearing seat belts at rear might be one of the most important thing to note here that took his life. So a strong platform or body shell doesn't make a car safer if the passengers are so irresponsible.
You have an exceptional driving skill which I have observed in your other videos. Is Nexon petrol AMT is better than manual ? I will be driving in plains mostly but yearly two trips to high altitude mountain with partial bad roads.
If you're not that confident with driving manual, then go for amt... But otherwise manual is the best.. The amt in tata cars have thar rubberband effect and as a result, there's a microsecond lag between gearshift and power delivery... Comparatively, hyundai and maruti have better amt gearboxes.. but this gearbox issue shouldn't be a deal breaker

Nexon is not a compact SUV, it is under 4m Sub-compact SUV like Amaze is under 4m compact sedan, so you haven’t upgraded at all. Rest regarding comfort, suspension; Ravi said it already when compared to Amaze. You bought nexon because you liked it - just say it 👍. It is anyway a good car. But don’t get into over justifying it and telling that others are making bad cars. You rode Amaze diesel for 8yrs and were still comfortable driving that for next 5 years that is the certified credibility in itself. 🙏.

According to me nexon doesn’t make sense if you are spending more than 11 lakhs. Though new cars have become extremely expensive nowadays where hatchbacks cost 10 lakhs plus and sub compact crossovers around 15. Rest everything is best sound quality is exceptional driving is smooth punch in acceleration can be felt very nicely with sports mode
I have Tata Nexon xms 2020 petrol.
Recently I have got 20 km/l tank to tank on highway in city mode with AC on. In mid it was showing 21.4. And in city i get 11 to 14 km/l in city mode. Fully satisfied with the car and after sale service in my city😊

I have Nexon xz + hs, royal blue. Upgraded from Baleno 😛. Considered Brezza, Xuv 300, trust me, Nexon is best in segment. Brezza is very under powered. And now for more money too. the build quality, ride quality, steering feedback and what not. This car is awesome. Shifting from Maruti, I feel huge difference. Nexon is very advanced!!!

For petrol It's better to go for Brezza or any naturally aspirated engine as turbo will cost a bomb on fuel especially in city. Else Nexon diesel is a fantastic buy i feel

Rear seat passengers should also wear seat belts. People should follow some basic rules for better safety. 5 star crash test rating is not going to save you in an unfortunate incident if you don't use your seat belts.

Not wearing seat belts at rear might be one of the most important thing to note here that took his life. You have an exceptional driving skill which I have observed in your other videos. Is Nexon petrol AMT is better than manual ? I will be driving in plains mostly but yearly two trips to high altitude mountain with partial bad roads.
Manual is better, AMT gearbox is not much good
If you're not that confident with driving manual, then go for amt... But otherwise manual is the best..
The amt in tata cars have thar rubberband effect and as a result, there's a microsecond lag between gearshift and power delivery... Comparatively, hyundai and maruti have better amt gearboxes..
but this gearbox issue shouldn't be a deal breaker

Nice customer review. these guys love their new Nexon. But I think they didn’t want to get too much into the negatives. I think poor mileage is a pain point. But nexon looks so amazing that people are willing to ignore any negatives.

Nexon is not a compact SUV, it is under 4m Sub-compact SUV like Amaze is under 4m compact sedan, so you haven’t upgraded at all. Rest regarding comfort, suspension; Ravi said it already when compared to Amaze. You bought nexon because you liked it - just say it 👍. It is anyway a good car. But don’t get into over justifying it and telling that others are making bad cars. You rode Amaze diesel for 8yrs and were still comfortable driving that for next 5 years that is the certified credibility in itself. 🙏.

All of these 4m cars are (4m hatchback (i20,Baleno,Altros etc), 4m sedan, 4m Sub-compact boxes) are all in same segment (50k-1lac) doesn’t change a segment, it just changes the variant 😂😂. Nexon is arguable one among top cars in this price segment but doesn’t mean it is an upgrade(where Magnite, Kiger, he considers in same segment but 4m sedan lower 🤣🤣). So, the brainwashed over justification is not valid. That proves how shallow the research is and it is not to convince others but to their ownself actually. None of these cars are bad, Amaze had 420ltr of boot he said, nexon has around 350 (not even worth). Amaze had big space, he said. Amaze diesel had far better fuel efficiency, he said. Amaze had better Power to weight ratio; then after all how is this an upgrade ??? 😂😂😂😂. It is just like Vitus vs Creta vs Slavia vs Seltos - they all look different but are under same Price Segment (next segment after one we are taking here) - nothing above or beneath. and YES, in India Price segments, taxation as per Govt norms are divided on the bases of Car Length and Engine (in CC). 🙏.

According to me nexon doesn’t make sense if you are spending more than 11 lakhs. Though new cars have become extremely expensive nowadays where hatchbacks cost 10 lakhs plus and sub compact crossovers around 15. I really feel lucky that I bought ford es diesel top variant for 13 lakhs last year but now no car below compass suits my taste😅

I can share the 30000Km service bill of the Honda Amaze. It was a major service in itself and it costed me 4.5k. However, mine is a petrol car.
