Buzzfeed feels like such a toxic place at this point cause all these creators seemed like they were overworked and not treated fully like people but just work horses creating entertainment
The kitchen and jorn show said that buzzfeed manipulated them into leaving by saying "we're like a family" to make them feel guilty about leaving

Alix has given me so much inspiration.
I used to be so closeted and so insecure and did not know how to manage all the stuff I had coming down in life. Alix was one of the many BAD ASS PPL that I looked up to the most.
She taught me how to be brave, yet tamed. CONFIDENT, but not boastful. And the most thing I value the most which Ive learned from her, is to VALUE MYSELF and the being that I am. Thank you Alix for teaching me how to love me the way I am.

I understand Alix feelings.
When I started at my company, it was only 5 years old and I grew with them. This year we celebrated it's 15th anniversary and also my professional career came to an end. It's pandemic and everyone is losing their jobs whether they like it or not, yet I choose to leave due to the excessive burn out ...its gotten worst in the beginning of the year when I started self harming again. I love my job.. I love some of the people... But soemtimes.. Good things must come to an end. I wish them nothing but goodness and I hope they'll flourish and grew together with the company as I did
