- Here’s Ravenscliffe’s wonderful Lucy sharing the stage with some of the world’s biggest musical artists as she plays "Prelude in C Major" by J.S. Bach in the Coronation Concert which was held on Sunday 7th May.
We continue to be awestruck watching Lucy play so effortlessly delivering her intricate piano playing live in front of 20,000 people.
Congratulations Lucy, we are immeasurably proud of you.

Except for the “in front of Royalty” I’d agree. Pure talent and gift in front of filth claiming responsibility, outrageous but not surprising the servant mentality accept this is somehow connected to their all powerful leaders. Lucy is a beautiful example of what and who we should connect with.
This young lass has been playing in front of audiences for a lot longer than a year. A lot longer. And yes, she is brilliant.

Lucy you make me Cry, I watch your face as you play and your head rockin to the piece you hear is visible in your minds eye I have a blindness to called asbergers and was by ear at age of 8 playing Rachmaninov but at 65 playing flamenco by ear blues by ear, I would play in the dark no lights. Lucy you are a stunning musician, with a beautiful SOUL you really FEEL the PIECE so very humble emotional response, lovely attitude..love you to bits ❤

Playing that piece is very easy, even I, who have only been playing the piano for 6 months, can already do it completely and I am 13 years old.

I've watched her a fre times and just love this child. What amazes me not only is she blind and remembers not only finger placement but the music and still plays so beautifully even with her her neurological issues. She is an absolutely an amazing and beautiful young lady! ❤❤❤

Royals don't do that sort of thing. First of all, there is protocol, which dictates that if they stand, so must everyone else until they are seated, again. Royals also practice stoicism and thus frown upon public displays of strong emotion. They must always present a carefully controlled, cultivated image befitting the dignity of one who is head of state. Overtly effusive and demonstrative public outbursts, beside being unseemly, would not be dignified.
That being said, I am of the opinion that if Charles and Camilla are granted a personal audience to meet with Miss Lucy, THEY should be the ones bowing/curtsying to HER.

She will be on classic FM in October as part of their Royal Albert Hall concert. It's in the radio and Sky Arts. Also she has a documentary coming out. Not sure when though.

She didn’t come from nowhere. She’s an English baby girl who had serious health issues. She and her family journeyed that.
What you see in front of your eyes is a young lady, who is blind, therefore can’t read music but who is a shining boost of talent and inspiration.
