It's amazing how influential this channel continues to be. James will always be teaching us through the legacy he and his team have built.
Man, the depth of field on that camera is amazing! Thanks for the review. It’s nice to see the shotgun range again like I’m there.
Tim is the best. At the end of Fighting Pistol he gave a 5 minute speech that could not be repeated. The whole team is one big family and you feel that when you train with them. If you haven't taken at least one course you are missing out. You won't regret it.
Tim says a lot of things that cant be repeated. 😄
Fighting Pistol was awesome!
I never thought of using a stretchy single point sling on my shotgun before, thank you Sir I will be trying it out. Great job on the video to, keep up the great work.
Miss you James. You were a great teacher and forever will continue to be thanks to your channel
That was great! Awesome shotgun with great coaching and commentary. I’m now subscribed!
Tim really knows his shotgun stuff. Fighting shotgun will probably be the class I take after medical. Thanks for the video.
First off I’d like to say, I wish you very well with your situation. Hopefully everything works out for you and thanks so much for the educational video you simplified it was loading very important and a little mishap there to see how to get to the shell out of there that was stuck in the loading port really appreciate it
Good video…I love the 1301 so much I have two now…(one I snuck into the safe while my wife was shopping for shoes). But seriously I had a Benelli M4 years ago but it was 2 pounds heavier and would be picky on ammo. My 1301 will Eat and Cycle anything I load. IMO this is the best shotgun on the planet. 👍
I like it cos it's thicc
Versamax tactical cycles anything, even 3.5...still the King (and softer shooting)
Soul, nothing but soul in this video where you have friends talking, having fun and sharing opinions. I have an LTT1301, worth the price and wait.
Merry Christmas, Mr. Yeager! Thanks for providing awesome content throughout the year
Tim is the Rain Man of shotguns.
“OK people let’s pick up our shells” … said no one, ever, at this range. Lol….seriously, great content.
Don’t apologize for being you man. I appreciate your video
The Gen 2 seems like a pretty badass shotgun
Tim is the shotgun wizard. Fighting Shotgun was the most fun class I've ever taken!
7:47 moments like these are why this channel is the best in tactical firearms training. James just handing out free game.
Great demo of machine and techniques. RIP, James Yeager.
You can ghost load the 1301 for 8+1 capacity.
Good stuff sir! I have mine on layaway. Can’t wait to get it out at the range. ✊🏾💯👊🏾💪🏾
Nothing but best wishes to you James. This is a ~good video. Please do this again - without all the comedy and failures. Much respect; only trying to help you all make this better.
I had absolutely no issues understanding your speech. God blees👌🏻
Seems like a nice shotgun! If I didn't have a Benelli M4 already I would pick one up. Love the content!
There is another way to fix it when that shell didn’t get pushed far enough into the mag tube, you can buy the pro style lifter. It stays up during loading. But thanks for the video. Good stuff here!
Love me some shotgunning. I just ordered a Beretta 1301 Tac today (which is why I found this channel). Of course it's going to take me 6 months to get it...
Tim was awesome in FP. Loved him! Great stories.
This was a GREAT video !!
Luckily, my birthday is in January, so , if Santa doesn't get me one of these, the lovely Jennifer will.
I’m ready to see that 1301 review from Langdon. It’s a sweet shotgun. I got one last time they ran them.
Great video James, informative, entertaining and funny
Glad you enjoyed it
Good vid! Knowledge and humor. Can’t beat that! Keep the shotgun vids coming guys.
Become a channel member. It helps!
I might want one of these in OD green but I ain't giving up my 80's model Remington 1100 12ga. with 10+1 shooting anything I put in it with its standard modified choked barrel !!!!
I believe the 1301 has an o-ring as well. Saw a video where it wore out.. i will be buying several for mine
Great video- Good training!
1301. Merry Christmas!
Awesome shooting and instructing
Miss you James!
Got my 1301, Damn I'm ready to take Fighting shotgun with Tim now ! This is awesome!
What specific shells are you using in this video? I am having a hard time controlling the recoil as well as you when I rapid fire.
nice shooting and nice instructing.
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I love your videos and live my 1301 Gen2, absolutely awesome self defense shotgun. God Bless you and all those who stand to defend The Constitution of The United States of America 🇺🇸
Enjoyed the video. Can you kindly provide a link to that sling?
I'm digging that single point sling. Would that work with the Mesa stock?
Love my 1301. Where did you get that sling?
My Gen 2 1301 has a barrel without choke tubes, I love that option.
Law enforcement edition right?
@@winchestermodel7044 i got the same, actually thought mine accepted chokes till I brought her home 😂
Wow !.. I love it !.. but I’m not able to locate one yet… still looking though… hey , do you think this gun would be a good bear protection gun if loaded with high velocity steel slugs??
Great video sir!
Holy shit. That tip about not waiting to see the hits and moving once you pulled the trigger. You don’t know what you don’t know until you know. Clearly it works too. Great tip great video
Not what I said. Listen again.
Excellent..excellent video you guys.
Did you guys notice play around the forend and barrel? When I take a firm grip, I feel the forend give, almost springy....I know it’s plastic but was more than I expected.
Love the 1301! Tim get his own sweet mother shirt now?
I can wait to see the Langdon review.
I can't find that Part 1 Gen 1 vs. Gen 2 video. Which one is it?
Every time I work a bolt or a pump, I think, “Here it is, 2022, let me go ahead and manually eject a shell and load a new round.”
The amount of shells on the ground is amazing
Pick them up for reloads,...JK
Could you please educate me what accessories the 1301 Tactical comes with?
James, have you had a chance to set up your hot tent this year so far? any improvements/ mods you can share with us? Thanks. Tim is a Great instructor.
No, I will be using it at our Campout/Bugout over the New Years weekend though.
Absolutely love that gun. Have thousands of rounds through. Eats everything
Wat would u say is the only downside to it ?
@@ericktorres5451 I can not think of anything the 1301 does poorly. Mine is not 100% stock. When I purchased it I ordered an Aridus Indrustries: Crom mount for RMR, handguard, Magpul stock, and a 1301 stock adaptor. I believe this setup is the perfect fighting shotgun
I’ve taken Fighting Shotgun 3-4 times…but not with my new 1301. Sounds like I need to head on back!
Should load it over your shoulder so your pushing the shells in smooth and not upright fighting gravity
So just to clarify, the Gen 2 is threaded and has chokes??
I got one a couple off months ago and I love it. Get one now befire our overlords decide that it is too scary for commoners to own
Could we get some Tac response Shotgun courses in Florida??
I bought this for my Christmas present last month.
Good review! Is the 1301 Gen 2 self-cleaning like a Benelli M4?
Yes it is.
I wish I could find one! All my local shops around me have back orders. Or pay out the ass for one online. I do own a Moss 500 that goes every where I go in my trunk. I am not as fast as this thing but it's so worn in that there's no resistance when you rack it. Smooth as butter.
I just got one in FDE. Luckily I paid $1299. I was on a waiting list and got the email and purchased at 4am.
Good stuff !
FDE is the best. And did you all mean that you added the Nordic 2+ extension?
Hey just bought my first Glock 19 and I’m loving it but I just can’t deal with the stock Glock sights I know you love the xs sights and I was wondering if your preferred the big dot or the regular dot? Some one please help me out!!!!
Big Dots
Tim's the man!
What's the name of that typ of sling he's using ?
From the factory the manual states the magazine tube will hold 4 plus 1 in chamber. By adding the nordic extender it will add 2. So will I have a total of 6 +1? Or will I get 7+ 1? Thanks
With the +2 it becomes 6+1
Where did you people get that sling?
Nice colorful ground on that range 😃
I’m buying one as soon as I can find one!
I don't much care for semiautos. But this 1301 has me reconsidering. Great video. 👊🏼🏴☠️🔱
Its my first semi.
It’s the best semi 12G money can buy.
You won’t regret buying one!!! My absolute favorite to shoot.
Hi James,
I noticed you didn't put the barrel clamp from the Nordic extension on the gun.
Do you feel it is not needed? Just curious.
Tim installed it.
First off I gotta tell you that this vid made me laugh the 3 of you are purty funny
Most of all thanks a bunch for the tips on shooting faster at the target. As soon as your sights land on the white fire and move on to the next
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Shotgun was interesting but listening to the coaching was inspiring.
The coaching and the learning.
On the last video Tim told us about an issue with the charging handle getting pushed in and preventing the gun from working. Was that issue resolved here because it looks like the same handle is being used. Thanks for the video
Fixed
@@JamesYeagerofTacticalResponse Thank you. If he remembers for the next 1301 video can u quickly address how they fixed it?
What are you going to use to mount a light to it? I have one and I can't find a mounting bracket that will fit the extension tube to put a light on mine.
GG&G
Great video, very entertaining. Funny not cringe.
I had Fighting Pistol with Tim. Best shotgun course I have ever taken.
Fighting pistol was the best shotgun course?
Russ - It is a joke.
What kind of Oakley sunglasses are those
What sling is that
I actually might respectfully disagree about the chokes, and raise the point that removable chokes makes a fighting gun far more viable to hunt birds or small mammals in a pinch, which I think has value.
So would you just lock-tite the slug/shot choke in until a tighter choke for fowl or something was necessary?
I agree ☝️ having the ability to utilize various chokes makes the shotgun much more versatile and useful for all practical purposes. I like things that serve as a dual / multipurpose tool .
Every time I see a 1301, I think it’d be a better HD option than my 20” Mossy 500.
The Mossberg and a class beats the new shotgun.
@@JamesYeagerofTacticalResponse if you had to choose between the Mossberg 590 A1 or the Beretta 1301 Tactical for all around home defense and deer / slug gun , what would you be your recommendation ?
Brian w/a I, it's not that he's short and statue he's the tactical response wolverine
That range has so many pretty colors on it.
Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it
Can verify on the short stroke on an 870
didn't realize that the ground was nothing but spent shells until the very end
What sling is that?
Anyone use the GG&G version of the tube extension? They seem easier to get - they also offer the Mossberg stock adapter too - looks like they are US made too.
I put one on mine. Works perfectly.
that thing is pretty rad
Good stuff
RIP James
I bought one with a Baretta tube extension. It's a lot thicker than the Nordic extension. I'm not digging it.
Who knew Tim was the Wikipedia of shotguns
Damn good video
Is that the SOE single point sling? Is that the sling you recommend for a shottie?
That’s a double yes.
@@AnnoDominiMCMXCV thanks. I am looking for a sling for a shottie.
