Hi everyone! Hope you enjoyed the interview, if you're interested in the Lucas show Connor talks about, here we areeeeee!
Sweet! Count me in.
Where? Did you intend to include a link?
@@ericminch click the profile my friend.
@@ericminch just click the profile, every episode is on there!
It's a goooooood time y'all
THAT'S OUR BOY CONNOR WE ARE SO PROUD OF HIM
RATLIFF 2012 NEVER FORGET
HE IS AT LEAST 35!
@@AndrewPowerSM That's old enough to be president.
@@HAM-TV Connor's running for President hooray!
All that being said, we should not forget that in 1966, Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, Bubba "Spare Tire" Dixon.
It’s so strange seeing people from the Chris Geth show out in the world. Every time I see Connor O’Malley in anything, I cannot not see the Beast Masturbator.
Connor is wonderful. The George Lucas Talk show is sincerely one of my favorite things. So happy to see him on here!
OMG, does this mean Seth will finally be on the George Lucas Talk Show?
Ugh my dyslexic ass thought you said Lopez!
Connor is one of the funniest people in the world. It's so great to see him get the recognition he deserves!
I'm so glad the pillow has been addressed, and if my ears don't deceive, Seth did say he would go on GLTS to get it back
I am listening to Dead Eyes now-it is brilliant.
Conner was also in a short film that is one of my all-time favorite shorts! It’s called “Dan Miller.” Hilarious concept, brilliantly directed, wonderfully acted, and so worth your time!
Thank you for the recommendation. I shall look for Dan Miller.
🤣🤣🤣 I hope to be there for the improv scene that starts that way, "Tom Hanks said you have Dead Eyes"
He's the greatest and I can't wait for the Tom Hanks episode!
...but when's the next 12-hour Day gonna drop? 😏🙏
Big fan of Connor Ratliff! Happy to see him on the show. Check out his podcast and also his episode of CGP Talk a Doodle Doo on youtube.
This rules so hard. The "You had *so many* that we thought...they won't miss one" was said in perfect George cadence. Sometimes the world is crap and sometimes good things happen to kind people and deep GLTS lore gets discussed on Late Night.
I think this is one of the most ingenious and hilarious story/podcast out there. To build a whole podcast and comic out of an incident that happened eons ago is genius. He is 1000 times funnier than any Saturday night live sketch.
I'm not totally sure who this man is. But I can tell two things. He's a true leader of men and a real athlete. If you ask me he should absolutely run for President and then try out for the Olympics.

OK, never listed to the podcast, I only listed to this last with Tom Hanks and I started crying. It got me involved in 30 sec. It was so sweet and moving somehow...
The Tom Hanks episode is not even the best one. Listen to them all. Brilliant!
I remember Connor on CSPAN! The whole HS was buzzing about it.
I am so thrilled to see Connor as a guest and to hear his announcement. Thank you for having him, LNWSM.
It’s Chester from Mrs Maisel! It’s the only thing I know him from and they never even talked about the show, I had been wondering whether he’ll reappear or did he stay behind at Steiner’s hah!
You should check out the George Lucas Talk Show! Connor is hilarious.
And his podcast is great!
Connor! Anyone here know him from The Chris Gethard Show?
OMG HE GOT HIM. I have been waiting for him to get to have this convo with Tom Hanks literally for years now.
Been a huge fan of Connor since 2015! So happy he's finally getting the spotlight he deserves! Seriously THE best improviser I've ever seen perform.
First saw the news of Tom Hanks being on Dead Eyes on Deadline, and thought it was a George Lucas Talk Show joke.
So happy to see Connor on this show!
I just listened to Episodes 1,2,5 4, 26 and the finale with Tom Hanks and it was GREAT. Connor now has a healthy outlook on the whole experience and Tom Hanks may in fact be the nicest man in show business.
Seeing Connor on here fills me with joy. Do yourself a favor and watch clips from the George Lucas talk show and clips from his time at The Chris Gethard Show.
Better yet, watch all of the Chris Gethard Show public access archives
Love Connor so much
What an interesting voice.
I have got to catch the podcast
It's really great!
It is a fantastic and fascinating podcast
Connor is the best! Can’t wait for Seth on GLTS
Yay, Connor!! Yay, Dead Eyes!!
Love to the TCGS fam!
Connor is the greatest guest ever on a late night talk show & that is coming from someone who never watches talk shows!!
So that probably doesn't make you too much of an authority...?
@@steveconn came here to say that 😂
Seth has interesting quests. Not like other talk shows. Getting A list guest. That are terribly boring.
would you care to explain how he's the greatest? no? ok
Dude. he was almost the bacon sandwich guy from Ep5. Crossroads. That is rad, even better to lose the role and have it become this new thing.
I guess most of the people in the comments are fans anyway, but if you have not listened to it yet, Dead Eyes is one of the greatest podcasts ever ...about creativity, show business and disappointment and how you cope with it. I even enjoy Connor's ad reads.
The announcement of Hanks on the podcast (and before that Colin Hanks) are among the best moments I ever had listening to podcasts...
SO proud of Connor. This is so phenomenal!!
Congratulations to this guy, for seeing success after what must have been a harsh setback. And, good on Tom Hanks for agreeing to potentially an uncomfortable conversation. Hopefully it brings some closure for Connor as this obviously affected him.
Loved him on the Gethard Show
Connor is the best! Very excited for the Hanks interview!!
So happy to see him getting some well deserved attention! Been a fan since TCGS public access days!
George George Lucas and Watto
I hope he's still training for the gold medal
Go for gold!
You have stellar eyes 💙
Love his podcast
I am genuinely interested in listening to the Tom Hanks interview.
I love his sleep story on the Calm app - funny but also soporific.
Ratliff 2016 gold 💪🏻
Connor forever -- it's clementime, baybieee!
What a great guest, so happy Seth got to talk to Connor!
why is he a great guest particularly?
CLASSIC Late Night clip 🤌
Hell yeah Connor. This spot was so good!
YAY CONOR!!! LFGGG... excited for the finale now!
For years I've been trying to recommend dead eyes and glts to people, and as anyone who is a fan knows that's pretty difficult to do succinctly. Sent this link to someone I've been working on and they said "I'm sold."
I love his podcast, I’m so excited for him.
I am so happy for Connor!
Hilarious !
Great, great idea.
I once worked with Tom Hanks in the late 90's on a small charity stage production. I was a nobody, and he treated me like Eleanor freaking Roosevelt. What must one do to get a negative response??? Totally catching the episode!
Do yourself a favor and binge the whole show before you listen to that episode. The journey has been so fun.
Hold up, I know this dude from the Gethard show!
Why does the dead eyes story remind me of Peter Cook and Dudley Moore's "One Legged Tarzan" audition sketch? 🤣
Talk about a little twist!
He’s dressed like Lucas with the check shirt.
I love that this guy is old enough to be President of the United States!
I’ll be honest after hearing the “dead eyes” story on TCGS I always thought it was a bit he was doing.
You owe it to yourself to go listen to this podcast. Fantastic!
"Oh. Honey. I'm so sorry. You are too good looking." -Penny Marshal to me at an audition for Riding In Cars WIth Boys.
Oh my gods i should have watched this earlier!
Is there now a vinyl for podcast? what's that shown by Seth?
Nope, just a promo placard. But def same dimensions as a record.
CONNOR!!!
Fun pod
He actually sounds like a higher pitched Tom Hanks.
I'm so happy for Connor, I love him.
...like a doll's eyes...
yayyyy connor!
He's got a funny voice ^^
So......filming a war movie, depicting the horrors that are associated, 'dead eyes' seem like it would be a plus.
Conner for President!! And the Gold at the Olympics!!!
Are all the people commenting just Connor’s family? 😂 Everyone’s so proud of him
No, he just has a kind fan base who is very proud of him.
Check out the George Lucas Talk Show and Dead Eyes and you may become a fan too! The George Lucas Talk Show has been my favorite show during the pandemic, no contest.
Show some respect to the inventor of Hot Baby, the hot sauce for babies.
If you'd seen every episode of The Chris Gethard Show, YOU'D UNDERSTAND
Huge thanks to all of Connor's relatives for being so active in the comments and for being so proud of him. We need more proud relatives here in the UA-cam comments: daddies, mommies, nieces and nephews, aunts & uncles. The occasional cousin. You know what people say: if the UA-cam comments are nice, it's gotta be the fam!
Connor is awesome
YIPPEEEEE
You heard it here. Tom Hanks is a monster.
But not a dead-eyed monster, so....
OK, more of this, Deeply stand behind this guy... Please have #MarkBernardon on to talk about his Comic book #AdoraAndTheDistanceytelbowcough
Porgies RISE UP!!! 🔥
Then nate Diaz hit him with a 1,2 then choked him out.
He does have dead eyes.
Was he in 'The Sandlot'?
public record
He actually does have an inability to tell a story through emote and his emotions don’t push through the expression, so Hanks was right and it was up to him to tell that episode’s story. Can’t wait to hear the podcast because I can, amongst the millions, forget the fact that this funny guy has dead eyes.
Why does the queen of the commons wealth empire loved by her subjects why does she have dead eyes?
Thats the question. What horror has her eyes witnessed.
He was fired by Tom Hanks because of this armpit voice.
Tell Tom Hanks, he has a limp lower lip. .... ;P
Take Tom's advice.
Your eyes pretend to be alive, but nah
What was Tom's "advice"? I don't think you paid attention.
@@deadeyespodcast5911 lol. That's rich
@@FakeAccount-gc6di Is it, though?
@@deadeyespodcast5911 legit makes no sense
@@FakeAccount-gc6di To you.
Who is this person?
A wonderfully warm, talented and hilarious human being. People will be well served to look him and his many projects up.
Connor Ratliff... It says it in the title.
Eyes themselves can’t really have expressions. They’re basically spheres with no changeable features. What you’re reading is lots of tiny muscles of the face. We’ve evolved a very complex system of both signaling and reading emotions from facial muscles. We find it disconcerting when there’s a significant conflict between tone of voice and those signals.
Short version, “dead eyes” probably meant his face wasn’t conveying what his voice was, making him seem “dead” inside. AKA bad acting. Does’t really arise if you’re just being yourself.
Thank you for explaining! 💀👁👁
Most annoying laugh ever...
Tom was so right lifeless dead aborted detached ... eyes ... NEXT set of eyes please ...
Don't think I could listen to his verge of sneezing voice on a podcast for too long.
Your loss I guess bro.
Don't listen to the 30+ hour episode of GLTS then!
@@CitizenKang Or "12 hour day" :P
You should definitely never listen to the podcast. Great news, though: there are so many other things to do! (Also: you don't need to say all the things you don't think you're gonna do. It will take up so much of your time!)
Cancel Hanks appearance on dead eyes podcast because he, Hanks has allegedly a dead voice. Take that Tom Hanks!
In his 70s Senator Lindsey Graham allegedly? What Trump's minions will not aver to get out of responsible behaviour. And jail for hypocrisy.
Connor Ratliff has problems. He carried that casting experience with him for 22 years and repeatedly talked about it. He needs help. The casting process in Hollywood is about rejection. If you have thin skin you won't go far. Not getting cast in a film/TV show is not personal. You just don't fit the look that the director is seeking. Move on
^^ Here's a guy who never listened to the podcast, but has some really strong opinions about it for some reason. Hahah.
@@Jogwheel The guy held onto to it for 22 years. think about that. And then get back to me. clown
@M H seems pretty weird to have such strong feelings for something you clearly never listened to. Because if you had, you'd understand he didn't "hold onto it" anymore than he simply remembered it happened. But, you're too cynical and lazy to understand that I guess 🤷♂️🤡
If Tom Hanks is the nicest man in the business then may Satan help us all.
You're kidding me...is that really his voice? Also the story of him getting fired....dude. Grow up. I'm so glad Tom fired this guy.
Okay, Kyle...
Why would you be so offended by this? Dead Eyes was named one of the best podcasts of 2020, and you've clearly never heard it, so it does seem like a "you" problem. But why be so upset by some good news that doesn't affect you in any way? Maybe that's a question for a therapist...
