I'm a avid gun owner and work in a gun shop. Most of this is actually fairly accurate. The only thing really wrong is that a Glock is " more dangerous" because it doesn't have a selectable safety. Accidentally having a selectable safety on when you need the gun to function can be the difference between life and death for law enforcement, military, or a law abiding gun owner protecting their family. That is the reasoning behind nearly all modern handguns not having a selectable safety, including Glock, and instead having a trigger safety that needs you to put your finger on the trigger before it can fire as well as drop safteys and firing pin safety. Not to mention that without the selectable safety, Glock handguns are one the most reliable and safe to use.
Only tricky part about reassembling a Glock 17 and most striker fired pistols is the trigger mechanism. You have to put the seer, block, trigger and slide lock back into the frame at once, and in the right order. Mess it up and it's not a disaster, but your slide will lock back every few shots. Real head scratcher the first time i made the mistake, and it was a surprisingly easy mistake to make, even for somebody that strips and cleans a few different rifles and handguns monthly, or whenever they're taken out and shot.
The United States is not banned for the automatic weapons it’s just difficult to get a hold of them as you have to have either tax stamps or it has to be a pre-ban which means it Hass to be produced/sold before the ban
What makes Glock guns stand out from the competition? They're named after me, Jeffrey D. Glock. And don't you forget it. There'll be a test afterwards. :-) :-)
Well, that depends on which mags you're getting but there are some in full steel but atleast the ones that came with mine were a mix between steel and nylon i think, im not really sure tho.
"Glock pistols lack one feature common to your average handgun, a safety" This is really only true for hammer-fired handguns, a vast majority of modern self-defense handguns are striker-fired (same as glock) and lack any form of traditional safety.
The Glock 17 was the gun assigned to my father, he is a police officer, I would say a very good one. Thanks to god he doesn't get to use it, but I am fine knowing he has a way to fight back against criminals.

I actually sort of still like the 365 better....just not $211 better.
@@Okun240 the G43 mag was already designed as a single stack, and 10rds was cutting edge when the 48 came out. It, and the 43X, were rushed to market because SIG's P365 held 10+1 to the G43's 6+1.
I believe had this gun not been rushed to market, a S&W Shield-style stack-and-a-half mag would have been standard.
The entire exterior isn't polymer, the slide is still steel.
They stated that, in fact better than you did with more details. LIsten
This guy didnt pay attention to the video
They even had a graphic showing the polymer frame and the steel parts. I guess someone slept through that part.
They did leave out the slide when they were talking were the materials and put it with the internals, so they did not say that that the slide was a polymer

Glock is the epitome of simple and reliable. Few parts mean cheaper production, easier maintenance, less ways for things to go wrong, and cheaper barrier to entry than many other options for handgun ownership. Plus it's just comfortable to shoot compared to others I've handled. Plus its widespread adoption is a lucky break thanks to the coincidental widespread adoption of 9 mm rounds for police and military use.
Another fun fact: Glock perfections isn’t perfect
Shhhhh.

@@HebrewHammerArmsCo If they WERE perfect, you wouldnt modify the living frick out of them as soon as you receive them.

I remember a Facebook streaming inside a car when a glock with no clip thinking it was empty was fired on the head of a man. There's still one in the chamber.
That's why firearms safety needs to be taught. That could happen to anyone if you don't clear the chamber.
Any firearm is capable of that, that was a case of stupidity with them not clearing the chamber and aiming it at anyone that wasn't a threat in the first place.

00:54 you put a picture of a case. a casing is the brass shell component of a round of ammunition.
4:54 "The danger of a fully automatic handgun in the hands of criminals would be massive"
Uh-huh..yeah, like they'd hit anything.
And for his neutral special he wields a glock
all out glock

The United States is not banned for the automatic weapons it’s just difficult to get a hold of them as you have to have either tax stamps or it has to be a pre-ban which means it Hass to be produced/sold before the ban
