Great video! We live on our sailboat preparing to sail around the world and have been loving the channel islands. They are a fantastic place, a true gem!
@@kobesn1fan24 lot's of people live on their boats, and we are not in the middle of the ocean. There are natural disasters on land too: fires, tornados, earthquakes, dust storms, sink holes, etc... its all a trade off.
To the good life. I've boated all around those islands but haven't lived on a boat. Several friends of mine do as has my son. That's an adventurous life and beautiful. The Channel Islands are great place to spend some time. Enjoy.
I used to work in those waters around the islands as a sea urchin diver. It was there that I encountered this giant great white shark face to face that I wrote about in my book "Why Am I Alive."
What beautiful scenery. I saw a similar video elsewhere but your photos were magnificent thank you. I am an amateur painter and would love your permission to capture a couple of shots of your pelicans and the seal but couldn't use the email address. Is that possible please or do you have copyright?. I just love pelicans but have not seen any like the ones you showed. Thanks again for showing me a gorgeous place I will never get to see as Im 70 and am unable to fly.. cheers from Western Australia
You say “Channel Island” many times in your video but as you’ve titled your video, it’s actually plural. Details matter. Decent video but ensure to narrate with the appropriate name.
Terrific video I love how you methodically go over everything with good music and a slow pace
Nature is wonderful
I've seen Santa Cruz island with snow on it I've seen Santa Cruz island with waterfalls coming off the back side you can't beat the channel islands!

Mmhmm
How many hours should you sound on the island?
Were the islands considerably bigger 13,000 years ago?

I’d follow up with San Miguel being the westernmost island not Santa Rosa
