Channel Islands is the best kept secret in California. My favorite island is Santa Cruz for its canyons and foliage. However it would be great to hike in Nature Conservancy Property.
Jumped off that pier on anacapa with the Leo Carillo Jr lifeguards way back in the day, then swam with hundreds of sharks. Good times.
Great video, thank you. I've been to Santa Cruz before and will be returning in April to camp there for the first time. My Grandfather was born on Santa Cruz
Anacapa island is a really beautiful I want to be back
Awesome video. Very informative!
Thanks for all the useful info about the Channel Islands. Didn’t know anything about them. Very helpful and interesting ❤
This video is so informative. I feel like i was having trouble deciding on which island I should visit. You explained it perfectly. Thank you!!
Glad it was helpful! Enjoy the islands!
366,000 visitors per year, I think Yosemite gets that in one weekend :)
nice video dear friend 👌🌹
Thank you! Hope you get a chance to visit the Channel Islands
Such an informative video! Thank you so much.
Glad it was helpful! Enjoy the Channel Islands!
awesome video... answered all my questions
Thank you
Can you do both Anacapa and Santa Cruz in one day?
How many of the islands can be visited in one day?
The cruises go to one island in a day, but you’ll cruise by the other islands
Two or three at most if you rely,
Do park rangers live there? I'd do park ranger academy just to try and get stationed there.
On Santa Cruz Island, UCSB has a research station and there is an on site biologist with the Channel Islands Restoration project. You need to get permission to stay there. Very rustic -- pack in your own food, tent, etc., and plan to prepare the meals yourself.
Which Island Packers trips do they take you to Painted Cave? Scorpion Cove?
Prisoners Harbor day trip ( Santa Cruz Island)
Thanks
Which island do you recommend?
Santa Cruz for Hiking, Anacapa for bird watching, Santa Rosa for beaches and trees 🌲
Thank you
